  • Wow couldn't have possibly gone better.

  • If you're gonna crash, this is how you do it. No broken bones and all skin intact. Well done!

    *golf clap*

  • DAnYul676 :( why where do u live

  • @2011midgetman Lol I live in England so i don't have to travel to far :)

  • I live on the corse

  • @2011midgetman your very lucky! if i want to go to the TT i have to travel, ;(

  • I live on the isle of man

  • Suzuki crash in suzuki drop :D

  • person waving the the flag was waving like an airplan crashed on the track.... hahahhah

  • why he didnt just turn the bike...?

  • @kypselialani14

............. Because he was going to fast. You can't just 'turn' a bike into a corner if you are going too quick, you will just make the crash more violent.

  • ooo isnt this the pit lane jajaja

  • ahahah!!lucky!

  • WTF!!!! Isle of Man aint the place for him.....l

  • Target fix ?

  • @derrarocket most definitely.

  • suzuki GSXR 1000cc

  • How to sit like a boss!

  • WHEEEELLIIEEEEE!!! xD

  • he want to sit and relax on the tires...he made it..great stunt xD

  • it amazes me how much your mind can screw you over on a motorcycle, but your mind can also save your life on a motorcycle

  • he crashed with style, props to him in my eyes he got away! well done

  • classic......dont try to stop, lower ur aprouching speed and evade :)

  • Ouch. Was he okay?

  • @Barbaryotaku He was perfectly fine. When the tt was red flagged he ran over the track and took a pee behind the pepsi max advertisement in the background so he must of been fine. :P

  • @DAnYul676 haha a little too much information. Good to know that he got away unscathed.

  • @DAnYul676 I think he must've gone to the toilet in his pants at the start of the video too... ;)

  • Lmao funny crap! Lol

  • what went wrong here??? he just didn't want to turn???

  • @bhooowan3 He froze. My guess is he was coming fast, started to brake late, which meant he had to brake hard, that made him fixate his gaze on the outside of the turn (he didn't look where he was supposed to be going), which in it self often is enough to trigger a freeze-up. From my own experience these come most often in such a situation as i have described here. letting go of the brakes and TRYING to make the turn usually counters it, but that ain't easy :s (never crashed this way myself)

  • @bhooowan3

he's braking hard down hill from about 160-170 or so, just left it a little to late on the brakes so he wasnt sure if he was gona stop in time for the corner so he wasnt really ready to take it

  • Thats the way, how to learn Stoppie

  • Looking like a good stoppie, untill the wall got in his way.

  • I´m pretty sure he just wanted to destroy that suzuki advetise with a cool move

  • To be honest that was a pretty nice stoppie with one hand off the handle-bar at the end. :P

  • nice one.

  • Crazy landing!!!

  • SUZUKI bike hits SUZUKI logo

  • He should of stayed on the wall like he mention to do that.

  • thats not even that bad

  • @TheFullPedal That's probably for the best as many motorbike riders can get seriously injured or even die as you may already know.

  • Nice stoppie though.

  • a bit faster and he would of done a george formby and finished up in the bar!!

  • amazing how the best can get into trouble ! good vid!

  • lol I like the way that he just keeps chilling on the side bag after the crash hit ;)

  • I've been in that postion before; the only good option is to slow down in a straight line. Only in my case, it was 10:00pm & I ended up in a canal. Still, it was the best possible outcome, believe me! Not a single scratch on me or my bike, but plenty of water where it didn't belong! : )

  • le commissaire d eocurse qui reagit au quart de tour...c'est pas un mickey..merci a eux

  • ALE CIOTA NA KOLANO KURWO! I JEDZIESZ A NIE STUNCISZ!

  • I want that Gixxer!!!!

  • Suzuki indeed.

  • seeeee the clocks should have air bags lol i bet that killed his nuts

  • lol its lame :)

  • fast yellow flag there well done that marshal

  • fast yellow flag there well done that marshal

  • I bet he could do the turn, no problems, if he got off the front brake and just lean the bike down...he was not with excessive speed for the turn (I don´t think he was, doesn´t seems). he probably target fixated the barriers and just froze...

  • a suzuki crash into a suzuki barrier.........nice

  • its quite skillful how he managed just to sit on top of the barrier as if nothing happened :)

  • he aimed for the suzuki sign

  • target fixation, well known cause in accidents.

  • impressive that he managed to get out of the wreck just chilling on the barrier like nothing happened.

  • It happens more than you'd think - it's a huge course, like the Nurburgring. Sometimes you lose your bearings, miss the right line on a corner and instantly you're off line for the next corner and you're buggered.......lucky for this guy he managed to scrub most of it off.

  • Best rolling stoppie I've ever seen but seriously the flag marshall was speedy!

  • About that corner.....

  • i think he forgot to lean

  • nice stoppie !;D

  • They've got rid of the "Floating disks at the TT problem" haven't they? When floating disks first came out, the harsh TT course used to cause them to hammer the brake pistons back into the caliper. Then, no brakes!

  • Oh yes you can turn while braking! Depends on how much braking you're doing.

  • theres always some simple bitch screaming. go home

  • Is that George Formby riding ?

  • 200,000 views :D

    Thanks guys

  • @DAnYul676 300+ now :D

  • LOL the best is he ended up sitting and stayed.. thats a good way to crash

  • He got target fixated on the barrier, watch his head, he wasnt looking into the turn to lead himself into it. He is stuck looking at the wall and subsequently hit it.

  • a suzuki gsxr into a suzuki add !!!

  • Nice braking, srsly!

  • at least he crashed softly

  • haha. he crashes his suzuki into the suzuki sign :D

  • Comment removed

  • someone show him middle finger and he want to drive him with bike

  • I hope if I ever crash my bike it will be a nice soft landing like this one !

  • Maybe he was American?

  • i bet he felt a right twat in front of a packed out creg!

nice stoppie though, and he sure found a good place to sit and watch the race!

  • i bet he felt a right twatin front of a packed out creg!

nice stoppie though, and he sure found a good place to sit and watch the race!

  • nice stoppie

  • quickly pick up the bike and make it look like you meant to do it maybe for show?

    nice vid

  • Its not very nice advertising someones misfortune to everyone else by waving a big yellow flag!!

  • Well if your gonna come off thats the way to do it, good to see he was ok.. not a bad stoppie by the way

  • portuguese!!

  • in case you didn´t know, last year was he first time in TT, and for no surprises he was just the fast and rookie rookie ever in TT 11!! From PORTUGAL to the WORLD!!

  • The suzuki went straight for the suzuki banner

  • Very nice landing!

  • It's interesting that with a slick, a sportsbike has antilock braking because of the weight distribution. as we can see, you'll go over the bars before you'll lock up.

If only all TT crashes ended like this! Great video.

  • good driver!!

  • nice stoppie.

  • I think it is Gareth Evans! (Maybe)

  • is Luis Carreira from Portugal

  • Er war einfach zu schnell und hat schon versucht sich auf den einschlag einzustellen....

  • isso é o que eu chamo de um lindo RL...kkkk...deu dó..mais que foi daora foi....

  • hmm why he didnt turn already, he got good speed for turnin and no need for lower that speed more. :S

  • @MrNightware not sure maybe he just paniced

  • @DAnYul676 he probably came in a bit hot, started to brake, knew he was fucked, target fixated and well, took the good crash.

  • @DAnYul676 i beleive the correct term would be " i think im done 4 today" lol :D

  • @DAnYul676 he needed to look where he was going and the bike would have followed

  • @jeffwazere

I'm sure that racer knows far more than you.

  • @AIpha0mega seriously mate i have a 49cc moped with a restrictor fitted to 30mph i know my shit

  • @MrNightware; at this level of racing the racer does not "panic", he had plenty of space and low enough speed to turn. it appears as dough it was a steering system failure, you can see how he set up for the crash by first, braking, then going for a endo to help set him up for cushin....

  • @ak56481 Even pro's mess up, they have bad days just like everyone else, looks like he may have came in a bit hot and target fixated. its ok, I still understand on his bad days he's faster than my good ones ;)

  • @MrNightware : it's TARGET FIXATION, youtube it for more examples!

  • @MrNightware He came into that turn waaaay too fast. Most likely misread the course from memory and thought he was entering a different term. By the time he realized it, the bike was carrying too much speed to successfully complete the turn; or really turn at all. The best option was the run off the track and attempt to slow down as quickly as possible before you hit the soft barrier.

  • @MrNightware cause the TT is 60 km a lap, more than 300 turns, and 5 races in the week. you lose concentration you done. as simple as that. 103 years of history and about 200 dead riders. this guys controled his fall really good. props to this senior

  • @MrNightware

The driver is Luis Carreira from Portugal, and the problem is the strong wind from the right wich forced him to abort the turning...

  • @MrNightware He had a brain fart!

  • @MrNightware his back end came round to the right if you watch carefully putting him off line so he ran on instead. prob thought he would stop before the air fencing lol.

  • @MrNightware He obviously target fixated

  • @MrNightware because he was braking and you cant turn a bike while you on the brakes. If you do you will crash.

  • @a6km That Sir is a wrong answer. I can't say that its an ignorant response but, I can definitely say that you lack knowledge of riding motorcycles. Maybe you just worded it incorrectly... yeah that's it! Cheers!

  • @franikk I`m affraid that is a correct answer os soon as you touch the front brake the bike will stand up if you force it you will crash

  • @a6km NEGATIVE! Will the bike stand up when brakes are applied yes to an extent. The rider in this case carried to much speed setting up for the turn and then had target fixation. You can also apply the brakes at full lean - it is called "trail-braking!" This technique can be used to shed speed, change your lines, or just to settle the suspension.

  • @franikk Well we are talking abpout this case not about slides or rear wheel spin where you use the rear brake to slow the rotation of the rear wheel but not to lock it up.

  • @a6km This can be used all at once or partial - again, I have to say that this is a technique. If you have ever experienced the track you would understand this.

When riding I only use the front brake and the front brake only. I am only pointing this out because of the misconception of braking as taught to a beginner.

  • @MrNightware He was in too hot...he probably thought he would lay the bike down if he tried to turn, or he fixated on the tires.

  • @MrNightware he was too fast for turnin.

  • @MrNightware did you ever try to turn with front suspensions blocked?

  • @MrNightware

Gee, I reckon he was coming in pretty quick. Would have dropped the front had he had tried to make the turn. He could have just run wide and missed the fence though. No doubt he panicked - tends to happen when you're going 60km/h too quick in to a tight turn!

  • @MrNightware

yeah sometimes it happens. On my roadbike I've had the odd near miss that shouldn't have been just coz I've turned from looking at summat then just frozen at stopped traffic or something. Then when you think back you think "I was only doing about 10mph faster, that shouldn't have been an issue"

  • @christhelion84 i panicked at windy corner 2010 second lap round on mad sunday, only 15mph too fast but did exactly the same, panicked, grabbed as much brake as i could and went straight on through the little ditch and the bike fell against the wall!

  • @jordo2485816 your obviously an english idiot then that comes over here, goes too fast and ruins it for the rest of us. 3 de-restricted zones on the island around the course have been changed to 50's and 60's because of english bikers. im sick of it.

  • NOOOOOOOOOOOOOB

  • @BamBamPK noob? not likely. he was top-20 in TT2009 and 3x Portugal champion. Something must have happened w/ the bike or got distracted

  • suzuki gsxr in to a suzuki barrier

  • I bet there was a hot chick showing her boobs in that corner that made the rider look

  • @The12Nurse naah som studs wid orange jacket lol...not sure if they attracted him =]

  • @The12Nurse LOL, how's that for target fixation?

  • et hop un ptit stopie et on se cale dans les protection ^^

  • he didnt slow quick enough because of no downshift?

  • It was a trick dummy.LOL

  • luis carreira ... campeao nacional de stocksport 1000 ,2010. Macau a vista !!!!!! Força campeão.

  • That was a baterous crash :)

  • coming in hot!!!

  • With Suzuki into Suzuki.. :D

  • Actually nice job of taking his hands off the bars at the last split second to brace himself and prevent broken wrist from the impact.

  • Could have been a girl, there was one racing this year saw her and she had white leathers on riding a gsxr1000.

Could have made that turn at that speed really.

  • VERY NICE RL........

  • i was there ;p

  • lool damn wtf was that about? fkn good stoppie but somehow not orchastrated lol seemed fixated on a bevvie me thinks lol damn.

  • He screamed baaa!

  • Dont need to turn in this bike race

  • @UsernameError69 lol apparently not

  • @UsernameError69

I bet u would stop, ha?

  • ...shit happens......lol

  • Suzuki hits Suzuki..get it guys? hope he's okay.

  • christy im not sure about that one. lots of people saying "target fixation" after they finished watching "twist of the wrist" but i find it hard to think someone on the tt would do that. they are realllly good riders. hope he was ok though, looked pretty soft (ish...) good to know even the pro's miss judge it some times

  • target fixation !

  • thats one of the best stoppies i ever seen :)

  • nice parking. did he have a beer?

  • @bez750 Not quite sure i was watching the race, its most likely he did though.

  • @bez750

    rofl ;--)

  • I think he might have been able to make the turn... might have risked low siding with his speed. BUT a good stop though. Could have been alot worst.

  • i think he could have made that turn...

  • Well at least nobody can claim he could have braked harder!

  • jajaja at least he´s sponsors wont be mad... al the attention was on the gixxer and the suzuki poster......... that was funny shit

  • it doesnt show from this angle but as it often happens with bikers he approached the bend too fast and his brain told him not to go for the bend and went straight out instead. It happens on track days all the time, its an instinctive instant choice that in a more open track will save you from falling

  • Bike isn't revving very hard as he's coming in - a gear problem perhaps? Linkage problem, or he missed a gear, or a false neutral or something. That plus target fixation/brake fade. Stylish crash indeed.

  • nice vid. most stylish crash ive seen.gsxr 1000 i presume? like the colours too!

  • One of the most stylish crashes I've ever seen =]

  • Comment removed

  • That's a stylish way to crash at least!!!

  • nice VIDEO tho

  • for you that dont know and wondering and saying he was going so slow but what you dont know how fast he was coming down into this corner , its a half milf flat out run down into this corner at creg na baa and hes braking from speeds of 140 - 150mph looks to me he got brake fade or to late of braking and in his position i wouldnt want to let them brakes off coming on this corner so quickly

  • seen his ex gesturing behind the barrier,,,
