I agree 100% you have to blast this song (try "disintegration" too!). The best way is to use a speaker as a pillow. Back in college. I'd get noise complaints from 14 flrs below me! Guards/Staff/Stud were slamming on my door but I couldn't hear a thing! One of many things I love about Cure is their endless instrumental intros. Today, you've got 8 sec to bring in the voicals or you're out. Scary. Q: i grew up in FR where Cure was huge since day 1. Were they big in the US pre-disintegration?

Right before Robert Smith got off drugs, and the never-ending drama of the almost daily threat of suicide, The Cure was awesome. He cleaned up,and found a reason to be happy.... and shortly thereafter, the band SUCKED. Same thing with The Smiths. Don't get me wrong, I loved them both... but that tortured existence was what made them great. One of their best tunes.
