We're just in standard EADGBE tuning, capoed up to 4. I'm wondering if it's sounding low because of the alternating thumb in Am; the thumb is hitting two low, open strings quite a bit, the A and E... possibly giving it a low sound.

Do you know what key the guitar is in? it looks like its capoed at the 4th fret but it sounds like it's tuned down..or maybe I'm tone deaf lol
