I USED TO ROCK 35-45c 5000MAH 6S.....TRUCK IS SILLY POWERFUL...TO THE POINT IT IS SERIOUSLY HARD TO TAP FULL THROTTLE...5000MAH 20-30c 5s HAS PROVEN MORE REALISTIC ON THE EVERYDAY BASH!
@TraxxasmaxxUk break a diff or something in the drivetrain and the MMM on 6s two wheel drive is super duper overkill!!...FYI 5s IS A GOOD COMPROMISE...MUCHO POWER BUT LESS BROKEN PARTS.
No it is not the mamba edition, I put the mamba monster in before that came out. And as far as being weaker than a rusty, plz, the stock shock mounts are, but the truck stock was hard to break, put 6s lipo in that rusty and watch the parts fly off. The steel driveshafts can't even hold up to 6s lipo. My friends stock rusty broke the first time he drove it, and was on a road the whole time. No jumps.
Yelow as I make the configuration of mamba to mosnter clastle using 6s lipo it not to zero "0" my lipos, since the lipos cannot lower of 3.7 for automatic cell and the configuration of castle esc? therefore I am for catching one and e revo with the engine mamba and using 6s lipo thanks.
Dumb question probably, but Im still learning........what does MMM stand for??trying to figure out what exactly the motor is.These have come a long way since my teens(Im 30 now) and we always used modified brushed motors.I am starting a custom aluminum E-maxx build as we speak and trying to figure out what motor to get??Want one of the more powerfull ones out.
I love the mamba monster max on 6s lipo it is too much power. Breaks shafts and rips tires in half so I don't want any more power. It's made by castle creations, and can take a beating(look at my other videos). I would not get alum a arms if you plan on runnin it hard at all. They bend and snap but rpm a arms bend and go right back. I've had them for a while and they still haven't broke after some huge hits. And yes thingshave changed a lot. My MMM has beat everything even close to it's size.
Wow who told you bad grip? These things will not spin on wet pavement. the same pavement I could drift on when it was slow and stock. These tires are the ****. Almost to much grip. I break axles on just hard drag races. I just got done putting in steel drive shafts and axles trying to get a full run out of them without them twisting in half. You will love them. More clearance and grip and a wider stance. only time I change them is on a real beach cause the paddle tires just sling sand good.
Thx for all ur replys.... im picking them up today.... how much do those steel drive shaft cost for ur e maxx..... But i have a tmaxx 3.3... ok thx again
They were about $90 for the 4 axles and center drive shafts and they worked great today. Did a couple big jumps with no breaks, I did strip one of my big joe rims. So my buddy let me put on his stock rims/tires and I did one donut and it stripped the inner tire wall off and split the tire in half at the tread so I just ran it on 3 tires and one rim. I had a friend that had the 3.3 and he never really broke any axles but they should fit if you do break them a lot.
Just make sure you get the new t/e maxx shafts. the old e/t maxx shafts are not the same. Do you have upgraded axles hex's? I think I need to get the biggest they make so I won't strip out all my wheels anymore. O I will say that the stock tires don't expand as bad so they are better for high speeds. But can't take much of a beating from the 6s lipos.
Thanks, I did a triple but my girl wasent video taping. The other flips were with it having a broke tie rod then rear driveshaft. Check out my other ones, you see 3 flips but the camera man freaked and you can't see it land, but it did.
what do you mean? nothing happened. they are great, almost to much grip, but expand pretty bad at high speed. When I run my high gear they do it so bad it just goes where ever it wants. But thats at like 50mph.
Yeah the tie rod on the front broke which looked like the wheel or a-arm was broke but that and a rear drive shaft was all that broke that time. Only problem I've had from those tires is spinning them off the wheel cause the glue couldn't hang and at high speed the handling. But the grip is crazy!! Even on pavement in the wet it wheelie's instead of spinning. Stock tires would not grip with 14.8v nimh cells. Big joes are taking 6s 35c lipo with ease. Love'em

4wd, atleast until the jump off the track. Then it was front only. Lol. They don't flip as good with front or rear only.
