I know mistakes have been made in the past but it is not too late for a real 2 state solution to be worked out but it will definitley cost Israel settlements. While this wont be easy It will certainly be beter than a war that will continue till all of the west bank and Gaza strip have been completely, provided ww3 doesn't break out over it in the mean time.

Yet if anyone has the right, in my opinion, to use collective punishment as a last resort- Israel certainly has that right considering how the Hamas is deliberately killing off any voice other than theirs, stations rocket launchers in civilian surroundings.
