  • The girl in the video is my girlfriend Lesley. I love you honey!!!

  • this is 100x better than everything that Tragically Hip as released since Trouble at the Henhouse

  • @Ericotheriault Fucking eh Bubba !!

  • I sure miss the days when Much Music was a music station....when they played great canadian music like Frozen Ghost , Grapes of Wrath , Honeymoon Suite.......those days are gone forever....long live Steve Anthony and Erica Ehm

  • John Bouvette on the drums...

I would go downtown to watch John playing with "Wild T" Springer in the early 90's

and I'd be taking notes on players packs of the chops he used when he was playing.

John became a friend and mentor and was definitely a contributor to my style as a drummer.

Cheers Johnny, time marchs on but it's nice to remember...

  • Badass mullet. :°>

  • ah its so cool to see my aunt lesley in this video!

haha shes sitting next me right now laughing and telling me about when this video was made :)

  • i remember listening to this song and i fell in love with it and i still love it today! great 80's music!

  • Good band but I have heard numerous BAD things about Mr Lanni, perhaps that helped shorten their career?

Shame cos they had a lot of good tunes.

  • Mullets 0wN !!!

  • Is Arnold Lanni Italian?

  • the guitarist for this band is my guitar teacher lmao thats how i found out about this band

  • I remember seeing them at Ontario Place in Toronto :)

  • A very underrated band imop was able to get all of the CDS very cool and awesome anyone know if they wll ever Tour? im sure im dreamin? anyone hear if they may come back let me know thanks

  • did they ever make a video for "Dream"?

  • @studdly31 very, very true.

  • ...!...

  • I hope all these great songs by FG go viral like When I'm With You did when they were called Sheriff. These could not have been easy songs to compose, record and produce. Kudos to the Lanni, Wolf and the guys! Eternal songs for the masses. There's nothing like putting this CD in the car player and rocking down the 401 to Toronto...watch out for radar though. It's great fun.

  • @davidfoster914 I prefer this tune, and other 80's music on the Coquihalla Hwy enroute to Hope BC,very loud !! Only cause i've never driven the 401...Don't have any plans to either ;-) Too busy going west to go east...

  • Who the hell gave this 3 thumbs down??

  • looks like kim mitchell...sounds like simple minds..still a great band in their own right

  • One of my favs from this band!

  • i don't need much to enjoy music - it's poetry of the heart.

i too wonder why is love so beautiful....

  • it was good when i 16...its still a good song now that im older..love this song

  • @darkangel1273 Excellent comment! I was 17 when this album was release. Time goes by way to fast.

  • lyrical geniuses, 'should i see' is like poetry about political dictatorships...and lanni's voice is brilliant...if only people knew...

  • They didn't become megastars because they couldn't get along. Lanni and Hassel hate each other. It all ended in court. Anger kills creativity.

  • Thats true, but its the story of thousands of groups.

  • @blackwatershore Court? That is terrible, what happened exactly? I can never seem to find any information on why they split up. It's tragic they didn't last longer, they are incredible musicians..

  • I love this song. I heard it on the radio forever ago and have been looking for it since. Awesome!

  • I cannot, for the life of me, understand how these guys did not become Megastars...I remember this track getting very light fm airplay around 1988. Fortunately, I picked up their cd "Nice place to visit" back then and I've gotta find the other two....Brilliant Musicians......

  • Great band. Lanni was a pretty good producer too, as anyone who heard Wild T's first CD knows.

  • Fantastic super melodic chorus along the Am Em C G D and a haunting melodic opening verse along the A open plus incredible harmonies on the downshift C.Just beautiful song writing.I have tons of fun playing and harmonizing with all their songs. You can tell when a songwriter has a great ear and understands great sense of melody and harmony and hears everything.Perfect pitch.

  • Great comments, thanks. I've always loved F.G. Their music definitely has a richness that I wish more music could deliver: excellent complete beautiful awesome music.

  • Always were a great band - Arnold Lanni (Singer/writer/producer) Is amazing at getting great sounds - his ear is super. Guy wrote great songs too. He is a much sought after producer in TO now...Get him to cut your next demo and see how fucking amazing it sounds!

  • OK, I meant Pls KEEP posting teh AWESOMENESSS!!!! I cant spell fer cripe!!!

  • Coming from the HEARTLAND this song is AWESOME! Please post more, from Canada and south! From one who is in her 40's, I heart Yer MusicPLus and MuchMusic!!!Pls dont STOP posting the AWESOMENESS!!

  • I think they are a band that aren't very well known...they were one of my favorite bands in the 80's

  • It's been a while since I've heard this song. It's so catchy, why isn't it more popular!

  • awesome tune....still love it....good meaning to it to.

  • this song should of been a huge hit... When I was a kid I used to listen to this song every night for like a year.

  • brings back lots of memories... these guys played at my highschool just as they were breaking out on the charts.. loved them

  • who are these guys?

  • Thanks for this one! Wish they were still producing. They were awesome live, too!

  • FG were one of those unheralded. rarely heard from, rarely heard on the radio, yet one of the most dynamic, talented Canadian bands around at that era..God Bless You Tube...

  • check out FM dreamgirl, another awesome hit from the same year, by another band of the same ilk. Anyone remember that tune?

  • Yeaaahhhh! I found the song! I had the oh no oh no round and round we go part in the head :)

  • well written songs that still sound good today.

how does a band from the 80s with such talent make a come back? Whoever has the answer should email this band, they deserve it.

  • When was their last album released? -Maatt

  • They def, knew how to write a good song. The lryics always made sense. Today they just don't!

  • These guys were great...love this song...- Maatt

  • I used to play this song on my college radio show all the time!

  • That much retro garbage plays only their "What should i see" song.I'm sure american music channels plays all the other ones just like in the case of BTO which much music never ever played.

  • @frozenghostsongs outstanding 80's mullet-Outstanding!

  • @frozenghostsongsiwonder What grabs me in this song is how much the word why is used. I seem to be asking the same the questions of Why, Why is love so many questions, Why dose love make us so insecure, why is love so unkind why dose love have conditions. For me I ask, Why is life so many questions? Why dose life make me so insecure? Why is life so unkind? Why dose life have conditions? Hopefully someone can answer that. God help me.

  • @frozenghostsongs I know this is a REALLY late reply, but what the hell. :) I live the US and I can't recall ever seeing Frozen Ghost played on any music channel I've ever watched and I've been watching them since MTV first started and was a real *music* network. LOL In fact, I haven't even met another person here in the US who knew what I was talking about when I mention Frozen Ghost. I love the band, but here in the States they went almost entirely unnoticed I'm sad to say.

  • Dream come true is posted out there!

  • I recommend the Essentials by Frozen ghost. Frankly, their singles all are extremely awesome. I do remember a video for Dream come true.

Their last album bit the dust, but you can't blame them as I consider their best tunes the pinnacle of late 80's Canadian rock.

  • Just descovered this band, and love their work.

  • awesome song

  • Thanks for posting this gem of a Canadian band who played such poignant songs. They were overshadowed by more mainstream bands.
