    1/2 cup granulated sugar

    1 tbsp orange zest

    2 1/2 cups white flour

    1 cup pecans or walnuts

  • whats the name of the song? you played while eating the cookies? ;3

  • @xxchocobun89xx "Kiss with a Fist" by Florence + the Machine. =)

  • You're right! I made some last night in a pan and they turned out great!! Thank you so much for the tips! <33

  • I tried making this shortbread cookie except in round shapes. How come mine turned out crumbly? Please help!

  • @alexaisumm these shortbreads needs to be thick enough, this is why we press them down in a pan, and then cut the squares while still warm, and remove from pan only after cool. If you made it in round shape it probably didn't have enough structure to hold itself in and became too fragile, specially the edges. Try making them in a pan like mine.

  • @dulcedelight1 The most rubbish answer ever! @alexiasumm please look for a better recipe. Traitional shortbread is made in round tins.

  • @alexaisumm I know it's been a long time you wrote me but only now I realized something. For some reason I thought you were talking about individual round shape tin molds and for this reason I said it didn't have enough structure. Now that I finally got what you mean I think that your problem was that you didn't press them enough before baking and/or you didn't cut them still warm. You have to do these 2 things in order to make it cuttable =) Sorry !

  • @dulcedelight1 Thank you for that clarification! Are you suppose to press down on the cookie before baking?

  • @alexaisumm yes, you have to press it down !

  • I like how you edited this video! You seem so fun haha, I subscribed!

  • gonna try it!
