this is good.. see what happens when you experiment with synths and technology.. those behind techno and the pioneers and guys like this are geniuses..
I just bought a furby yesterday and brought it home to tear a part..never heard of anyone doing it.. but mine ended up looking just like yours but i cut off the creepy eyelashes. Found it at the thriftstore for three dollars.... so weird and fun
If you don't like it, then don't watch it!! It's so simple. Enjoy your annoying toys that were hated by half the world even when they were actually popular.
It strikes me that the main 'problem' with MIDI is that it is too precise, and less likely to exhibit these strange behavours. Someone needs to create a Brownian motion machine for digital gear! :-)
I like that idea! Perhaps a box with MIDI in/out containing a radioactive source that randomly alters different parameters, detuning occasional notes and 'unquantizing' precise timing!
it doesnt matter what they use, circuit bending always sounds like random noise, if you got all those thousands of dollars worth of equipment you can at least do something better than a four year old might do be accident.
This is the shit!
I can't hope to make something as awesome but I will think of this masterpiece when I mod my little robotic daemons!

you could send generative midi in that would be cool.

@thenervoussquirrel how about just using sample and hold to trigger midi parameter events,
Be easy to knock something up using Max.
