And actually about a total of 27,000 people are dead or missing.

The earthquake did major structural damage in several areas of Tohoku and Kanto as well. Areas of Chiba including Tokyo Disneyland started to liquefy. The ground actually opened up in Yokohama. And actually about a total of 27,000 people are dead or missing.
