@PardoxTricks you need to make sure it's a .cfg file. Also it has to be in main/ or players/

@EditsbyDZN Just copy your players folder or mw2, basically rename players to movie and add your files there, then if you want to use the movie "profile" rename movie to players and players to normal.. switch back when you want to play again. Simples.

@MazzStudio you have to devmap first, start a private match then devmap mp_rust so it turns sv_cheats on for the demo :)

@Asqect because you didn't move the demo to players, play iw4m2 (the demo) and you can record on all maps. you just need the demo fixes for all the maps.

@XampleGamify Dlc2* iw4m2 lets you play demo's on every map but iw4m1 (stable version) lets you play them only on dlc2 due to them having no config strings.

@YouPlayWePay No, you can on iw4m2 though :) But it's buggy atm :L Still works the same as this though and they play longer. Most of the demo's you record on iw4m2 play back without problems (other than itmescale) but sometimes you still have to use this method of playing them.

@byExistence no, not at all. If you didn't know already, demo's work fine on iw4m2, other than the fact they don't play back at the right timescale which isn't a massive issue.

When u watch ur demos is it slowmotion even if ur timescale 1? Cause when I go timescale 1 the sound is normal and the game is in slowmo, and the auto weapon sounds like some1 are tapping and not spraying ;o

@zaapeEdits you can try, record test then stoprecord. Should work fine, if it's not in main, look in mods/ because you might of played a mod e.g isnipe would be mods/isnipe/demos/test_dm.13

@qpstrafe because they have config strings and dlc2 maps don't, that's what NTAuthority told me to say the least, I'm not entirely sure what config strings are but it must have something to do with the connection to the server since you get "host connection error"
