@Stillwater900 True, mental illness is not cute, lovable eccentrics like Benny and Joon or What About Bob? It's a fucking nightmare. He never accepted a diagnoses. Because in those days people wouldn't see a shrink and get medication, they would get committed. Which there was talk of. So his last marriage was more or less to assure that wouldn't happen. There is much to elaborate on but I'm running out space. In the end most people will remain oblivious to the degree of which this man suffered..

I suffer from OCD. The fact that an individual was able to not only cope with one of the hardest psychiatric disorders to treat today and achieve all he did on top of that is a miracle! He is truly an inspiration to all sufferers and it is such a pity that he is not with us today.
