The Disney Channel prefers their target audience to be young girls and teenagers, who of course, are easily manipulated into buying into a lot of trendy stuff. So as long their audience watches whatever they give them, the company can put very little effort put into the shows they create, but still make a lot of money off the franchise. So basically, quality doesn't matter to them; it's all about the money!

ohmigod! this used to be my fav goofy cartoon. i still remember that song he keeps singing and i never got what the actual lines to the song were. its only now that i realised that its "Loudly, the Bell in the Old Tower Rings"! haha. absolutely brilliant and amazing attention to detail.
