@JSantana319 You can cancel at any time as the service is contract free. Just remember that you give the payment the minute you sign up for any of the paid services. You can cancel, but you won't get refunded.

So far, I like the service, but if you can, get Spotify Open (the free version) to try out the basics of it.

@kevinsmak Firstly, let me say that Rhapsody, in many ways, does not compare to services like Rdio, MOG, and Spotify. At the base of its service, Spotify is free, with ads, providing 20 hours of playback with songs from its library of about 15 million songs. Rhapsody, right off the bat, does not compare with its base price of $9.99, or in its library which contains only roughly 10 million songs.

@kevinsmak Also, Spotify does offer an ad-free, unlimited playback service for $4.99/mo, and a better Premium service for $9.99/mo which does the mobile syncing like Rhapsody, but also gives you higher quality audio, and the ability to sync the songs you have locally on your hard drive. Please watch the video (you'll see that I said most of these things and some insight on why its popular in it), and compare the two using the power of the internet to see the wide range of things you're missing.

There is another subscription that is called Spotify Free

It's identical to Unlimited but you will need an invitation from a Spotify Premium user.

@tfbekk I called it Spotify Open because I had to do my research on the names on the UK site - where they called it Open. The name Free is in the US. The invites for Free are being rolled out to people who signed up on the site gradually, but you can get an invite from Premium and Unlimited users. You don't need the invite from people to get in, but it takes longer. This comment is for clarification, but all that you said was clearly in the video.

Hey you all in the U.S! Don't think about Spotify as a replacement of your owned music library, think of it as a Radio station where YOU are the DJ! It has totally changed the way us Swedes listen to music. You cannot go to a party here in Sweden where there is no Spotify client playing all the music anymore! It's FANTASTIC! And worth every penny if you subscribe! Just imagine, you can stream millions of songs to your phone at any time! By far the best online service there is!
