  • Then the bus shows up and a huge wave of relief comes over me... Too familiar! But I think mines a little milder than this one, that or ive learned to control my anxiety somewhat

  • This stuff happens to me a lot too, it sucks because you can somewhat feel it coming on but rarely can it be stopped before it goes rogue

  • I have AS and used this video as an 'example' to my partner to show what can happen when such trivial things become triggers for a rage / meltdown / shutdown. My partner doesn't seem to understand, I have learned to vocalize when I need to be left alone...but I am followed, and triggered, and then I rage....and then I am blamed, even though I did everything right -- the way I was taught.

  • THEY SEE ME SPERGIN, THEY HATIN

  • lol i show my meltdowns to no one!

  • Very intresting film,it's very informative to me because i've got aspeargers and working on a similar project at college for someone with aspeargers, broken routines can make a person get all anxious in situations they aren't used to im like that sometimes.

  • Thank you everyone who has commented so far. And I agree, ShawtyLG23, that 'Asperger Meltdowns' can be quite scary!

  • this scared the shit out of me

  • Its a good video. With my AS I have no concern for things that do not make sense like being on time. Mostly because I could pass any exam, test or exorcise without preparation or listening to the sleep inducing drivel from "teachers."

Because of my OCD behaviors however, I can understand how not having a tardy record could play a factor in concern. I do not understand the frustration as I am never frustrated.

  • Really well done. It's really insightful.

  • nice job. 5 stars

  • Certainly, mamalusk! I'd be delighted for you to use the video in your gathering!

  • May I please use this video in my upcoming gathering for teenagers with Aspergers?
