I actually feel that Captain America would lose against Batman. All you show here in this statement is that Batman is your favorite hero and because of that he should be able to defeat everyone end of story. Batman only has physical abilities and his gadgets. In physical skill, Gambit is superior to him due to his powers which leaves Batman to his gadgets which Gambit could simply kinetically charge and throw back at him as well as anything else he decides to pick up.
Your extremely focused on the idea of one man being more powerful than someone with super powers. Not every super power can guarantee you victory against anyone, I don't think there is even one super-powered hero who hasn't lost to someone else but when put these specific two next to each other, one has the same physical skills as the other and then some including an extra mutant power bonus. I'm not sure you quite understand the full capacity of Gambit's abilities. The only person that probably does is Mister Sinister. He doesn't just make cards into bombs. He has considerable staff and hand-to-hand combat skills, but, most notably, he has the power to bio-kinetically charge anything. What this means in a fight against our crafty, crime-fighting bat hero is this: Batman cannot touch Gambit, or vice versa, or it's lights out for the Dark Knight. How the fuck is he supposed to win??

I would agree that Batman is a better hand to hand combat fighter, maybe even trumping Gambit's staff skill, but Batman possesses no super powers. So what is an intelligent, well-equipped, normal human being going to do in a fair fight against Gambit? I think Batman wouldn't be crushed, he's a hell of a tank. He soaks up punishment, but I truly think he would just be overwhelmed. There's not much that could be done.

After reading Gambit's bio, I see that the Marvel universe has seen fit to over power him to an incredible degree. Even so, Batman has beaten enemies 10x the power of Gambit on his best day. Gambit wouldn't have ever really stood a chance. The Hulk is the most powerful guy that the Marvel Universe has to offer. In the Batman versus the Hulk crossover comic it was Batman who won. Batman beats pretty much everyone. Bane had to wear Batman down for over a year before he even dared to face him and that was the only reason Bane broke his back. Unless you're a god or you plan on wearing Batman down for at least a year before fighting him then you don't even have a chance.

hmm, fist to fist, true that gambit is NOT a trained fighter, or at least not as formally trained as bats, but the fact that he is a super mutant is on his side. And even if Batman didnt know his opponent before hand, c'mon, we have countless number of precedents to base off the usual outcome of Batman miracuosly survivng the first encounter, analyzing every aspect of the enemy, and then deranging them out of their wits.

I have to admit I like batmans character, but I just can't see him facing people byond his ability, at least head on, without prior knowledge of that combatent, a lot of people like to put him up aginst wolverine, bad idea and sabertooth even worse idea, he doesn't have a caring bone in his body, and gambits a smart fighter.

The way you descibe batman he must be a mutant, but he isn't he's not faster ,stronger nor adjile enough to face sabertooth, he would get ripped to shreds then gambit would touch his cape and turn it onto a bomb. Bats would end up in a comma. I know you love batman but after knowing what these guys could do to ninja, I don't think so.

the thing is, what ever gambit touches, he can rearange the molecules to make them go at such a rabid rate, that they explode, and if this was before he was powered down, all he had to do was stare, and he could be anything explode, the only weakness he even has the ability to heal himself bye stimulating his own celular activity.

I'm not sure you quite understand the full capacity of Gambit's abilities. The only person that probably does is Mister Sinister. He doesn't just make cards into bombs. He has considerable staff and hand-to-hand combat skills, but, most notably, he has the power to bio-kinetically charge anything. What this means in a fight against our crafty, crime-fighting bat hero is this: Batman cannot touch Gambit, or vice versa, or it's lights out for the Dark Knight. How the fuck is he supposed to win??

I would agree that Batman is a better hand to hand combat fighter, maybe even trumping Gambit's staff skill, but Batman possesses no super powers. So what is an intelligent, well-equipped, normal human being going to do in a fair fight against Gambit? I think Batman wouldn't be crushed, he's a hell of a tank. He soaks up punishment, but I truly think he would just be overwhelmed. There's not much that could be done.

After reading Gambit's bio, I see that the Marvel universe has seen fit to over power him to an incredible degree. Even so, Batman has beaten enemies 10x the power of Gambit on his best day. Also, "grab batman's mask?" If Batman let him do that, Gambit could just stick an explosive card in Bat's mouth. Point being, Bat's wouldn't let him do that.

Gambit wouldn't have ever really stood a chance. The Hulk is the most powerful guy that the Marvel Universe has to offer. In the Batman versus the Hulk crossover comic it was Batman who won. Batman beats pretty much everyone. Bane had to wear Batman down for over a year before he even dared to face him and that was the only reason Bane broke his back. Unless you're a god or you plan on wearing Batman down for at least a year before fighting him then you don't even have a chance.

ok yea batman has beaten some of the toughest villians but i dont think gambit would be an easy kill for batman. gambit is one of the few crafty x-men there is. if it was storm or beast or nightcrawler, they might realy too much on there own power and underestaimte him and get defeated by him. on the other hand people like wolverien, gambit, even cyclopes would have an advantage. wolverien healing would make him a challange, cyclopes tactic would make him a challange, and gambits craftyness

hmm, fist to fist, true that gambit is NOT a trained fighter, or at least not as formally trained as bats, but the fact that he is a super mutant is on his side. And even if Batman didnt know his opponent before hand, c'mon, we have countless number of precedents to base off the usual outcome of Batman miracuosly survivng the first encounter, analyzing every aspect of the enemy, and then deranging them out of their wits.
