  • Grew up with the Moodies, what a band, this version doesn't do justice to the album, try listening to that with the 'phones turned up!

  • wish i could enjoy my favorite group without seeing an obama ad-have they even taken over our music?

  • the piano arrangement in this song is one of the most beautiful things mike pinder created.

i d like to listen to it solo. yes, fantastic stuff here. the voices harmony, ray s flute, amazing lads, the moody blues...

  • Fabulous stuff!! . . .

  • "The Sistine Chapel of rock" - you were right Don Rose.

  • I have to say the Moody Blues were making records before Pink Floyd,so who took influence from who,I think Sid Barrett took something from them and then went his own way and as they say the rest is history.

  • any person from iss will remember this song from lincoln center and europe

  • A lot of this reminds me of early Pink Floyd. Some of the best song writing.

  • Unus Mundus of c.g.jung , Unitary Reality of Erich Neumann; ?

  • so what?

  • @cloudjia sorry, but the moody blues music is no rock'roll

but i am very happy You like them , Because that is a wise choise !!

  • COMPASSION - SOLUTION. SO TRUE!

  • Oh, and One More Time to Live, "I have riches more than these"...bravo Moody Blues.

  • Jesus is the one I had to run to, as much as l love you. He loves you more. Ask him to show you truth and come into your heart.

  • thank you

  • Truly an Incredible album!....And to think they are not in the Rock n Roll Hall Of Fame in Cleveland???...Now thats UNBELIEVABLE....

  • I would dislike this but i would b the only one so ill pass. This music is alien to me, but w/e..

  • My 18-month-old is big fan of Jethro Tull since 3 months old. He also likes ABBA and The Smalls Faces a lot. The Move's I can hear the grass grow, Peter and Gordon's Knight in rusty armour, and The Hollies' King Midas are some of his favorites. I played this song to him just now. He did not seem to be particularly interested. Well you never know. Someday he could become a big fan of The Moody Blues too.

  • He who wants to fight begins the end of time.

True now even more than ever!

  • It all depends on us. We make it or break it. We choose to do what we do...and hope that others choose right. We have no guarantees. So many are weak. Some don't care. I care...and it took many hard times to become stronger. Lots of harder times to find some sort of happiness...and it's not far off...only a matter of relocation and total commitment.

  • Amen to that

  • I love everyone of the Moody Blues songs, especially those on the first seven albums, but this particular song touches the core of the Moody Blues soul and its crying out for humanity, as do songs like Questio, Lost in a Lost World and Just A Singer in a Rock-r-roll Band. Where are the groups crying out for humanity today? We need them more than ever. Peace.

  • I share a lot on facebook - reaches a lot of my younger friends and gets lots of appreciation ~ keep sharing. The Moody Blues ~ just love them....

  • Blew me away! (again!)

  • The world would be a far greater place is everyone loved this song

  • every good boy deserves the get familiar with this supreb album !

  • A wonderful, insightful song - as relivant now as it was then. So many people write Lodge off as a songwriter, but he's hit it here (as well as the solid I"m Just A Singer In A Rock and Roll Band)

  • I feel bad for this generation. All the garbage music they embrace. I am going to start playing this around the house and not try to 'sell' it, just play it. It hopefully will sell itself.

  • Right on, man. Just to give you hope, there are some of us out here who appreciate the good old stuff. I'm 21, and I refuse to listen to anything made after the late 70's -- huge Pink Floyd fan. Classic rock will never die!

  • @nfox25 Agreed! I'm 32 and I will fight for my MB, Jethro, The who, Cream, Buffalo Springfield, The Animals, Cat Stevens, Dave Clark Five ... well almost everything from the 50's to 70's! 50% of our generation has musical hope at least. Rock on man!

  • @zachtg1 I didn't try to do that on purpose, but the other day when I was Youtubing, my 20 year old looked on my computer to see what I was playing. Then he said, "I like the Moody Blues." Then again, maybe it runs in the family. When my other son was about 5, I found him sitting with a pair of headphones listening intently to the stereo. I checked to see what he was listening to, and it was Jethro Tull.

  • Not only a beautiful song, but one of the first environmental songs, and the first one to mention population (meaning over-population). The compassion part was nice but with time we found that it made it worse. The song still stands the test of time in its sheer beauty, and symphonic rock heaviness (trippyness).
