I have made this point to Muslims over and over and never got a coherent answer. The whole point of the hajib/burqa and other cover ups is to dress modestly, to not flaunt your femininity in the faces of strangers, yet it is somehow totally acceptable to wear seductive eyemakeup and paint your lips seductively and wear jewelry that accentuates your femininity?
