I could never EVER master the bombing myself up trick! Or the trick where you do something with your Samus, and she gets surrounded by an orange or yellow sphere and you get all your life back. Wow, I haven't played this in so long!

I've gotten to the wrecked ship without the grapple beam or the speed booster. I tried to beat the game without getting the speed booster, but I found there is only one part where you must have the speed booster. The grapple beam is not necessary to beat the game.

Yea so how do u get enough speed to make it to the wrecked ship? I get passed the missiles but cant speed boost from there! Is there a way to get to speed faster? I seem to not have enough room

@MrStogy420 - Don't hold the run button down before you start pressing over to run. Take the first couple of steps and then hold the run button. This will actually get you to speed faster.

I had the same problem before.

First take 1 or 2 steps without holding dash button, then press and hold dash down and run normally. If that is done correctly then you will start to speed dash or whatever it is called a lot earlier :D

Oh my god i remember trying to do that ball bomb jump thing for years when i was a kid i could only hit like 3 bombs max you got so high just awesome kudos man.

Also i remember seeing this thing on the (second) intro where samus uses a power bomb and starts floating in the air with a force field around her getting her energy/weapons back does anyone know how to do this?

Its called "Cystal Flash" you need to have 10 missles, 10 S. Missles, 11 P.bombs and below 30 energy with no reserve energy in the reserve tanks. Lay a P. Bomb with the normal fire button and hold it as well as L, R, and down

Nope. 49 energy or less, no Reserve Tanks. =] I did it at 30 something energy.

Speedball is the same thing as mockball except in speed booster form. Get speed and hold jump and press down once, and just before you touch the ground, press down to access morph then hold the direction you are going. Did this help?

I think that for the wall jump. If you do it on the left wall, you should hold the pad left to the wall, when ready, instant move from left to right pad and jump button at the same time. For the right wall, you do the opposite direction. after you did a wall kick, you move back to the wall right away and do some more wall kick. This is called wall jump. I hope my tip help.

I don't think its possible. I try to wall jump in water and I find that I couldn't do it. I think the only possible is that you do the diagonal bomb jump which I havn't learn yet.
