Andromeda was a great show, Tier was awesome, it really went downhill after he left. You know, it's one of those rare series that starts off great and gets worst. Most series start bad, and as characters develop and actors get better with their characters and dialogue improves, etc. but Andromeda was great from the get-go. I think I read Tier left because he saw the future scripts and didn't like where the show was going.

Yea the reason it started out so good and ended bad is cuz they fired the original writer at round the mid point of season 2. He stayed on in a smaller role untill the end of the 3rd season. That's when it really started going downhill. It's a shame cuz the universe was very well done and the Nietzscheans are my favorite Sci-Fi race of all time but they'll prob never get another show to shine in. Not that they'd be as great without Tyr ne way. One of my Top 5 favorite characters of all time.

The one line that tyr anasazi had that I really liked was in Music of a Distant Drum when he'd lost his memory to the Dragon. He told the dragan that the Drago-Kasov were totally dependent upon their tributary planets and without them they'd be weak. Kind of like how weak I've always said that we would be without imported gas and other products over the years. If you can't provide something yourself and you're dependent on one source, you're dependent on others and that can be a fatal weakness
