From what I've been hearing and reading is that people in Egypt did not have a fair voting system for 28 years ( close to 30 years). This guy, Mubarak, has been playing with the votes to favor his side for that period. I know that a lot of people call Egypt a democratic country, but it's not. The voices of the Egyptian people are finally heard by other countries thanks to the riots of the Tunisian people who demonstrated how to get rid of a tyrant leader.

The president did a lot for Egypt stability at least he was not stupied like others in foreign policy. His mistake when he thought that it will last for him and for his family forever. Also the corruption around him gave him a bad image. But he was a soldier fought for the country and made peace for it as well. At least he deserve a respectable exit and leave with dignity.

From what I've been hearing and reading is that people in Egypt did not have a fair voting system for 28 years ( close to 30 years). This guy, Mubarak, has been playing with the votes to favor his side for that period. I know that a lot of people call Egypt a democratic country, but it's not. The voices of the Egyptian people are finally heard by other countries thanks to the riots of the Tunisian people who demonstrated how to get rid of a tyrant leader.

I am not happy with the corruption with American government, but it's taint even, sadly, is enveloped in Muslim countries and government along with westerners.

The next government will be controlled by NDP like in the last 30 years or so. These are not times for democratic reforms as we have seen many reforms in Egypt non of which have created any real political difference or changed the master slave like relationship that exists with Egypt and the USA. The whole system is corrupt and requires a radical change that ensures no secular political party is allowed to exist as they have all sold the blood and soul of Muslims whichever country they operate.

Hosni Mubarak talked about the people abusing the freedoms that HE gave them. Additional vice president Biden asked a rhetorical question about him who says that Mubarak is a dictator. Why do either of them think there have been no public objections to his rule until now. I was living in Cairo at the first multi party election and most of the real opposition were arrested. He has now decided to dissolve his government not accepting that HE is the one they are demanding to go.

I don't think you understand the whole situation. If Mubarak falls the Egyptians WILL be on a highway to a totalitarian theocracy. American influence in the region will be damaged really hard and any chance for real freedom the middle eastern countries had will be lost forever.

Mubarak is not dictator, if he was a dictator he would have wiped all of the protestors out. He needs to fix the problems of his country by improving the living of people and fight poverty. Egypt is rich country and Egyptians suffer hunger and poverty which is why they are protesting; if Mubarak gives people money and food and change everything right now this means he will stay and we won't lose good ally to the west.
Be aware of brotherhood and islamists if Mubarak leaves...

Most of this problem is due to the issues of the Egyptian government, but it if wasnt for my country the United States there would be a real democracy in Egypt not an autocracy masked within a democracy. Our government spills the ideals our democracy but it doesnt really care about it outside of our boarders.
Mubarak needs to leave in order for my muslim brothers to throw off their shackles. No true democracy can happen as long as he remains in power.
