Yeah, interesting is a good way to describe it. I'm not a huge anime fan anymore but I still enjoy this and a few others. HS is really out there at some times but at other times it can be so normal.

Actually, her version came a lot later, she is not the original artist. But yes, Sir Mix-A-Lot didn't create this song, he used a song from the 60s called Apache for the background. A lot of artists have used it.

It's called The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. It's an anime. It's pretty weird but it's still a fun watch. I make lots of videos with it cause it's really easy and the art is nice. I recommend it if you like or don't mind animated shows or anime, because it's pretty good.

A good rule of thumb is: if it's anime, most if not all of the characters are probably crazy.

Obviously there's exceptions that prove the rule, but many many animes are insane, along with the characters in them.

However that doesn't mean it's not good! You might like the show. I found it enjoyable.

What I said was that I don't really get the huge fascination either, but I don't really blame people. When I first started watching anime I was this huge weeaboo but I eventually kind of grew up and realized that it's not any better than America's cartoons (which I'm not saying are bad, but nothing to fangirl over more).
