Funny how modern documentaries have to cater for the dim-witted modern audience by using extensive dramatisation sequences, and "spritsing" old photos to seem hip. All rather sad. Rather read a book.
@nicksum29 Nicksum, I would agree with you on the whole. But, I think this is tastefully and well done. The images go with what is being spoken of and thus serves to augment the effectiveness of the lesson. We can grow to understand the time period better due to seeing various elements within it. It turns the cogs of the brain in various ways. It is marvelous.
