Its a song from Macedonia and it is in an old language which no longer exists however 'mudra kurva' means a smart whore so its at least insulting if not 'dangerous' chances are hes looking for this whore Rumela maybe she owes him money or hes in love with her. And yes hojdi means come.
"vine, vine"...
we've been looking for the lyric's meaning, but it's hard to find it out! It seems to be sung in an old macedonian language, so not much people knows about it. It probably talks about the seduction of a woman, maybe called Rumelia, and "haj-di", which is repeated several times, means something like "come, come"... That's all we could get!
Rumelaj (14) is a dangerous song though it sounds so innocent. It was originally sung by Hungarian band Kalyi Yag. It became popular in folk dance circles and a lot of people began to play it. Problem is that no one could come up with an accurate translation of the words. They might be quite lewd. However, even Kalyi Yag couldn't settle the question when a friend contacted them.
