I got the MTD kingston artist, and man... i really wanna pair it with the hydrive 2x12 combo amp, I just love that hartke tone. great punch and drive. Nice playing man. Good stuff on that MTD.
Hate those amps, sound like a guitar amp, sold mine like 6months after I got it. I'll recommend aguilar, ashdown, mesa boogie, fender, GK, peavey, SWR, orange, carvin, ibanez promethean and may be an ampeg. Stay away from these hartke hydrives unless you want to hear your bass to sound like a guitar. THEY SUCK.
@maninahole don't have a combo now but I'm still waiting for the new eden e410c which came out in May 2010, they are not in stores yet. I did play one at Samash when I went to SC a month ago and the versatility was something else.........check it out.
