actually, it is NOT about naming and shaming. the real reason why we need to know is that justice needs to be seen to be done. justice needs to be done in an open, transparent, way, so that the public can know that the justice system is working. it is not about shaming criminals per se.
This MP clearly does not understand the law. Venables has not been convicted yet of the "serious allegation" If and when he is convicted - then yes, we should know the details - but not before.
@GoldenLegends he is been convicted today he pleaded quilty but i don't think he deserves anonymity remember after they murdered the little child they placed his body on the rail truck n after the tain went over him half his body was on a tree DON'T TELL ME anyone who does this is Normal how many 10 years old on this earth would do that for their satistic pleasures how about the little boys parents? they got a LIFE sentences
