how hard this guy yanks on the ball is irrelevant to how well he would do on a sport shot. what matters is how consistently he is able to yank on the ball the SAME way each shot.
You've got some good stuff started but i have to agree w/ finessin' out that yankin' on the ball. If you're just out to have fun on a wall'd up house shot it'll work as long as you don't injure somethin' one day, but if you do that on a sport shot or pba condition, which i believe you're pursuin' you're gonna spray it all over the lane. You have to repeat VERY closely on tougher shots and the forcin' n' yankin' n' balance issues will affect your chance to repeat. Good luck!

The others seem to have gotcha, The head swag and the bent elbow and the balance issue. . . . Ease up on tryin to crank it so hard and let the ball do the work, thats what you bought it for. You don't have to throw it 25MPH for it to work. 15 works just as well and it will save your arm. And at that speed you can work on your approach. . . .
@mrsabine111 i agree, i throw stroker style but its basicly the same deal with me, i was trying to force the spin on my bowling ball like BIG time and i decided to slow up, its good that your taking 4 or 5 steps, i used to do three step lol as soon as i stepped up one more i was more accurate, i swing my arm wherever i wanna throw and i put just enough spin on the ball :) so slow up, you wont throw your arm out of its socket xD
@volodenon Actually most crankers are leaned over...not THAT far over, but nonetheless, they lean pretty far...just look at tommy jones - he finishes with a good 30 degree lean...
@IAMADEUM im not speaking of his lean im speaking of his style and form overall, nobody in the PBA has that jagged and jerked release. and oh lets not forget the akward head tilt
@IAMADEUM Agree with you, you look at PBA, european bowlers, and world bowlers, so many different styles yet still successful. === there is no "right form" in bowling PERIOD===
your ball is rotating on a bad axis. you could be getting a larger reaction if you put more side turn as opposed to rolling it almost only f orward. by doing this, you wouldnt have to try and rev the ball like crazy!

word of advice..the cleaner you get your hand out of the ball, the more revs you will have. Try changing the thumb pitch.

there is nothing PBA about your style, i dont know any pro that whips there head to the side like they have down syndrome

@volodenon doesnt matter what pros do. What works works. there is no "right form" in bowling. It either works or it doesn't.
