please help, with renaming ULJM05156.bin to ULES10266.bin i have the Europe version isf i try the ules10266.bin it say somthing ules00851 and if i rename ULJM05156.bin to ULES00851.bin

it works. if i do that when i go to load the game it says No character data found please insert mem stick duo containing previously saved data what do i do plz help

DON'T TRY THIS! It;s a waste of time and damages your save file. It CAN be done, but it is better to ask someone who actually knows how to do it properly...

when i try to start the MHF_frv3 it pops up an error saying "run-time error '339':

Component 'comctl32.ocx' not correctly registered: file is missing or invalid"

once youve made your save japanese you have to create a .bin file from that save, so load laboko 2nd option then to the mhp2nd save then 4th option then put the .bin file from the root of your psp into the same folder mHP2_QuestEditor JAP-FR :D

and then you can changwe your name, sex hair colour etc. :)

GAN, why wont the programs work? the custom quest editor is all messed up with weird symbols instead of text and the program you used to load your save in this video loads on my PC as

and then says something about invalid files

why? is it because i have Vista?

When i try to load my save with the mhp2nd quest editor it doesn't let me but the other program does let me open it. :/

Yea me too dude, this entire tutorial isnt very organized, I appreciate it but its not well organized. MHP2_EDIT doesnt automatically load the bin file for some reason and when I click "Ouvrir" to try to open it it gives me an error.. But MHF2_FRv3 is able to open the bin file.

One only works with certain converted files. Like mhf2 converted to mhp2 will work with one, and a save file thats mhp2 converted to mhf2 will work with the other.
