Cutting a Pineapple

Not to be a Negative Nancy or anything, but you don't really get much edible fruit out of it once you've cut away the skin and core.

This lady waisted almost half of the pineapple. I love the heart chewing center of the pineapple. I eat fresh pineapple all the time, use it to make smoothy and my own popsickles. Pineapple like all fruits and vegetables are a blessing directly from the Creator God.

Pineapple is an absolutely amazing fruit. This simple explanation on preparing pineapple will encourage more people to eat this lovely tropical fruit. Great advice on selecting fresh, ripe pineapples.

TonyTantillo, the Fresh Grover said the best way to pick a ripe pineapple is NOT by plucking out the inner leaves.

He said pineapples dont ripen anymore once its picked. The best indication of a ripe fruit is to smell it.

Hmm..i never cut a pineapple this way...or the way they show you on all those videos...it wastes too much food... I just twist the top off and then slice it into four long pieces and eat it like a watermelon...all the way to the skin...

those eyes dont bother anyone.. and why dont you scrape um off.. why would you slice off a whole piece just to get them off.. bad tips your teaching people.. seriously.. you could just eat it and spit it out.. its all water and sugar.. the little eyes are spittable.. just like watermelon.. but fat ass americans can stand the little seeds so they breed and genetically engineer till they have fruit with no seed.. seems nice(just like chicken with no texture that sells in super markets).. pathetic!
