  • So, do you used warm or cold or hot water to get it off?

  • @underworldassasin I used warm water.

  • Where can I purchase one of those brushes :)

  • @examae15 It's just a foundation brush that's old. :) You can buy a cheap one or even get a paint brush from a craft store. :)

  • I'd love to have a facial night with u..you're very beautiful

  • Do you think If I put this on my face as a paste in the shower for 5 minutes or so, it would work at pulling the dirt and excess oil out? Im trying to develope a method where I wash my face with a very mild cleaser (any suggestions?) and then layer this clay on for a deeper, 5 minute detox.

  • @IntoBlackHouse It's worth trying!

  • what happens if i used a metal spoon only to get the clay powder in the bowl? i hope i didn't ruin anything too much. any thoughts?

  • buy online from iherb.com! Use code KOY923 for $5.00 off your first purchase! :)

  • bought the product after your review..I have it on now..as a person that suffers from adult acne I have high hopes as I've tried everything..thanks again for the review.

  • I really do feel my face pulsate. I have been using this product for over 4 months because of the oily skin and breakouts in the chin area. I also have blackheads on my nose. I think it works great. It leaves my face clean and hydrated. I break out less using this product. How I use it: I use 2 tsp raw apple cider vinegar and 2 tsp clay powder, 4 to 5 drops of tea tree oil, and a little water if necessary. I find it easier applying with a brush.

  • @MsMeme1109 how soon did you start seeing results

  • @wloks Well, at first I didn't see anything but a red face but I used it with water. Now that I am using Organic ACV, I see a huge difference. I started seeing results about 2 weeks into using the product. I had only been using it once a week (every sunday). Now I use it twice a week.

  • where can i get it? did the blemishes go away?

    c

  • where can i get it? did the blemishes go away?

  • why cant you use metal?

  • who cares if its fun, does it work ?

  • I heard this clogs the drains? Due to the acid I am assuming it can corrode the plumbing. I have heard to use a damp wash cloth to wipe it off as much as you can and then rinse over the sink or in the shower. I just ordered mine from ebay. Can't wait to try it!

  • I just bought this mask and when applied and i realized that I had a little left over. Is it possible for me to save it and use it the next day?

  • @DreamMusic24 It will probably dry out, but it doesn't hurt to try!

  • @DreamMusic24 It'll dry up by the next day most likely, but you can just add water to it to soften it up again.

  • your face looks really red right after but really pretty before you did it...how was the day after results?I wanna try it I normally just just mint julep masque very easy and good :)

  • How smart, I would have never thought to use a brush. I bought mine at iherb with some code and got it for a buck and just paid for shipping.

  • Great video. The best deal on this is at iherb.com. It's only $5.99.

*** If you're new to iherb, put in code COT477 to save $5! ***

Here's the mask iherb (dot) com/Aztec-Secret-Indian-Healing-Clay-1-lb-454-g/29363?at=0 and here's the vinegar they recommend to use with it iherb (dot) com/Bragg-Organic-Apple-Cider-Vinegar-with-The-Mother-Raw-Unfiltered-16-fl-oz-473-ml/5817?at=0

  • Wow, I loved that I found this product being promoted on Youtube. I came across Aztec Secret last year as I was shopping around Lassens, our local food & nutrition store. I bought it & used it right away, however, with water instead of raw apple cider vinegar because I was a little hesitant about using the vinegar on my face- for no apparent reason. But now after watching your video, I am totally going to try the vinegar. When I use it with water, it gets clunky & almost difficult to soften. Thx

  • you can use olive oil, sunflower oil, peanut oil in as a mixture. I bought spirulina powder that i use as a mask and it does the same, but it does dry your face

so i put either of these oils to help moisture and condition skin

  • how often should u put it on????

  • Hi I'd really like of you replied. Will it be as effective if I just use water?

  • @MaddieGracep It would work, but I like using the vinegar. I've never tried it with just water.

  • Nice-N-Less Messy!!

  • My face doesn't pulsate!:/

  • I think the "pulsing" effect comes from the mask really constricting the blood flow of the face not "pulling" blood to the face. Like when getting your BP checked the mechanism that wraps tightly around the arm consticts the flow so the body has to work harder to get it through so the mask tightens so much that the body has to work hard to get the blood back to it.

  • This stuff is AMAZING! It's a miracle!

And the best of all it's affordable. I love the clean feeling it gives you when you wash it off. The first time I put it on, it felt like my face was falling off and got so scared but it was definitely worth the try. I have acne prone skin, oily and tons of acne scars. So far, it seems like my breakouts are under control and I am getting an even toned skin! I absolutely love this product!

    It's worth the try people!

  • @munirafaith how soon did you see results ? i have 3 days of trying the product i saw some results but im scared that it wont work

  • @wloks Well remember, everyone is different. If you are doing it every week, make sure you do it every week-no slacking lol. Also, try and open up your pores with a hot towel or steam before applying.

  • @MsMeme1109 thz for the tip i started using ACV i have seen some results but i also notice some breakout but i think thats happening bc the mask is sucking the acne out

  • @wloks The same thing happened to me! I had break outs near the chin and I was so frustrated. However, I realized that it was happening because my skin is sensitive and because the mask is sucking out the grease, blackheads, etc. After the mask I like to use the unflavored gelatin peel for blackheads. The black/white heads that the clay mask didn't remove, are lifted and practically out. The gelatin peel helps get them out. Use toner and a moisturizer that works best with your skin after.

  • @fashionfreak916 I get mine at the Davis Co-op.

  • This was a really great review. Thanks!

  • why non-metal?

  • @jump4fun22 Metal will chemically react with anything acidic (the vinegar).

  • @TheSilverLining80 ohh okay, thanks!

  • @fashionfreak916 u can get it from the vitamen shopee

  • how did you get it out?

Did you just wash it off, or did you use a washcloth or something.

    I hope you answer XD.

  • @miTsUmi101 I initially used a warm washcloth, and then also rinsed my face with water.

  • @TheSilverLining80

    awww.

    Thanks for the reply.

    I really appreciate it.

  • @fashionfreak916 Whole Foods, most natural health food stores, Vitacost.com

  • HI! I use Matis Beauty Products and sell them too and they are as great for all skin types... i have oily skin and use Reponse purete!

    Check it out!

  • Could you tell me what the PH level is? Because only 8.7 or higher is considered high quality.

  • @jmoonsuede Sorry, I don't know the pH

  • @TheSilverLining80 No prob I still bought it hope it works. My monster in law could use a heaping batch of this stuff, lol.

  • @jmoonsuede hahaha that's funny!

  • I've used this for years and love it so much. But recently I discovered that it is damaging my plumbing ( I live out in the country btw )and had to stop using it and miss the effects so much...

  • @gumybearss I use a bowl of warm water to rinse this off then take the water and dump it in the alley behind my house. Hope that helps!

  • Why can't you use metal?

And whenever I try to mix mine, it always clumps up, and I can never get it a nice consistency. =/

  • I use the Aztec clay mask with apple cider vinegar and i had a breakout all over my cheeks and chin, is this normal. help me please.):

  • @truelovewaits23 Maybe you had an allergic reaction. I wouldn't recommend continued use of a product if it caused you to breakout like that.

  • @truelovewaits23 what kind of apple cider vinegar did you use

  • @Tanamontana100 Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar.

  • @truelovewaits23 Yes, that is normal. For some people who are acne prone, if they have an acne breakout it is because all the gunk is being pulled to the surface. Acne typically happens over the course of months, and all this did was pull it all up to clear it all out. This is typically called a purge. If its like a rash breakout, it would be an allergic reaction.

  • ive heard beer is good for the face. your thoughts ?

  • i love this clay

  • I just purchased this product on Amazon and I can't wait to try it! Your skin is gorgeous!

  • So, is the vinegar smell overpowering? I've heard that vinegar can fade sun damage spots. I think using the brush was good, but a thinner layer might be better and take less time and effort.

  • @notcool98 The vinegar smell was not overpowering at all.

  • This is my all time favorite masque, I love it so much!!!! Great cideo

  • Thank you for this video I am in the market for a new mask Ive been using DDF sulfur mask. Do you know how this compares?

  • @SuriLifeStyle Thanks for watching and commenting! :)

  • good idea on using the brush. your skin looks great!

  • @elovesp1 Thank you! :)

  • GREAT video, thank you for sharing!

  • Thank you so much for doing this! Takes some 'balls' to get on camera looking like Shrek! Really appreciate it though!

  • oh, and what do you reccomend? using it everyday, every other day, or once a week? what do you do?

  • @welovepaco I use it a couple times per month.

  • great tutorial! lol though i couldnt help but laugh when you returned with the drying mask!

  • each segment of this video was cracking me up as the mask started to dry and it was hard for you to speak lol! great tutorial.

So you mentioned cranberry juice for oily skin, is apple cider good for oily skin as well?

    thx great vid

  • @yokuma1 whole foods too

  • Great video.

I saw this after I already used it for the first time and you give a great review!

  • Finally!!!someone that doesn't go for the outrageously expensive masks!!! whether it's Aztec clay or the traditional green clay you can get them in any supermarket or health store. It's completely natural, usually you get a 1kg of product which last forever and the skin looks amazing!

  • I love your application!

  • could u mix it with rose water?

  • @Pr3ttiMami04 You definitely can! You can mix with anything you want, really. I've heard of people using rose water, aloe vera juice, milk... I've even squeeze some acne spot treatment in mine before. You can put whatever you see fit in the mask, because the clay is natural. :)

  • On my face right now. Love it!

  • i got mine today, i bought it at Henry´s market $5.50.

  • Great review! I really want to try this out now.

  • Great video. I use it twice a week for my oily skin...

  • Do you know if this mask is good for sensitive skin? I have been looking for a good affordable mask and I have sensitive skin and some redness that is oily in summer and dry in winter.

  • @lilacs1986 I think it would be fine for sensitive skin.....you'd probably want to mix it with something other than vinegar, though. That might be too harsh for you.

  • @lilacs1986 I have sensitive skin and it's fine for me. Natural raw organic vinegar doesn't irritate it. It works with the clay so well. You can dilute it with water if you wish, though.

  • @lilacs1986 I use Life's Abundance revitalizing clay mask. Don't need to add any liquid to it or anything. All natural and made with volcanic ash. I have very sensitive skin and it works like a charm. Oh and as it dries it doesn't do that burning sensation, it's all real natural volcanic ash clay! Check out my video on it which gives a demo of it.

  • @yokuma1 Any health food store or Vitacost.com.

  • I just stared watching your videos and it's refreshing to see someone as non-brand loyal to skincare as me! This video is hilarious and you're a total trooper for doing it. Keep ém comin'!!

  • @natemom1 Thanks SO much for watching! I can't watch this video without laughing at myself!

  • Me, my mom, my sisters are hooked on this cause it clears up our skin fast.

its really okay if you have oily or dry skin cause i have dry skin while my sisters have oily.

what i do is i steam my face first to open up the pores. i put a towel over my head and let the hot water go until i feel my pores start opening up.

then i mix the clay with purified water and let it dry for 10 min. since i have dry skin but usually its like 20 min for oily skin. i reccomend this product,it really works

  • It's so funny because I just applied the mask for the first time as I was watching your demo. As I was watching 6:29 I was smiling and as you said it was so weird feeling. Great demo, thank you :)

  • my mom uses this as shampoo

  • Great video I am going to try this tomorrow. Your skin looks great

  • Great review!! so funny how you tried to talk with the mask on and dry lol

  • I cured my acne by using real volcanic mud from the source, check out my video!!!!!!

  • Tired this mask out - used it twice. I have broken out really bad. Also started using the Mychelle oily skin products. My skin is so soft now but the break out won't heal. None of the pimples/zits get better. I'm wondering what happened to your skin within the few days after you tired it. Is this normal or just something I shouldn't use anymore? I want to try using natural beauty products but my skin gets better only when I use the old stuff that is apparently no good. Any ideas?

  • is there any lavendar and tea tree oil in it?

  • I bought two pounds for 8 dollars.

  • could you tell me where you brought your bentonite clay for 2 pounds, i live in the united kingdom and they do not sell aztec healing clay in any of our health food shops, i was thinking of ordering aztec healing clay from the vitamin shoppe online but they only do that one at 1 pound only, iam actually looking for 2 pounds. i would be really gratefull if you could let me khow, thanking you in advance.

  • I love your videos and am really impressed by your amazing skin! I'm glad you posted this as I just started using this mask again after a few years hiatus. It's so good for people like me who have very oily and congested skin. I use it several times a week and love what it does for me!

  • I've been looking for a new mask to try and this is going to be the one! I like how you have to add liquid to create the mask, as it allows people to customize the ingredients to best suit their skin needs. I think green tea would be a great liquid to add....so would grapefruit juice for those of us with oilier skin. Thanks for the review - you are my favorite reviewer on YouTube. Natural products are the way to go! :)

  • @jasetraber Thank you! I agree about natural products. I'm constantly trying to find natural replacements for some of the chemical-ridden products I used to use. The more research I do, the more I learn how important it is to detoxify my life! : )

  • I have to try this product NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love how detailed the demonstration was really helpful :)

  • Great Review :)

  • I have almost bought this a few times in the store, I think I will give it a shot now, looks fun! Loved the demonstration...Hope you have a great holiday!

    Love your vids!! :-)

  • @mgoularte1 Thank you! My Christmas was amazing!!! Thanks for watching and supporting me on YouTube! : )

  • GREAT demonstration! 6:23 had me dying of laughter, though, but in the sweetest way possible. xP

    <3 your videos!!

  • @RinoaMai Glad I got a laugh out of it! :) Thanks for watching!

  • thanks for sharing this! i am definitely curious! you have beautiful skin.

  • Can't wait to hear about the long-term results!

  • Now I want it!!!

How are you getting on with the Nutriganics moisturizers?

  • @JIovannone Just so-so. I'm not thoroughly impressed!

  • last time I shopped at my local vitamin store, I was interested in purchsing this mask, but I resisted that urge, because I was not sure what to expect from it. Thank you for the great review! I'm a bit natural freak too :) Please post an update after a few days.. I really what to know how will you skin behave afterwards.. thanks!

  • I'm definitely going to have to give this a try!

  • your videos are great! thank you.

  • 6:23 OH MY GOOOD i was laughing soooo hard! hahahaha, also when you applied it and was kind of sceptical, i was dying of laughter. Hahaha! youre just graet, im totally going to look out for this <2

  • Great video, Would you please let me know where did you get the mask and please make and update review. Happy Holidays, I kind like miss your videos, please make make up tutorials.

  • I never thought to use a brush to apply a mask. I will have to try that out. Have you tryed the apple cider vinegar as a dietary supplement? Great job on your tutorial!

  • wow GREAT demonstration hun : )

  • @nayyohme Thank you! A little crazy looking, but I wanted to show the whole process!

  • I think the pink rosy glow is from all scrubbing to get it off. lol

I do enjoy mud masks, but yeah they're a pain to get off! Have you tried the egg white mask?

  • @tinafromohio Yes, I've tried the egg white mask. It tightened my skin like CRAZY, but the whole concept kind of grossed me out and is a tad unsanitary!

Thanks for watching and have a great day!

  • wow that looks like a lot of fun! I'm going to go try this! thanks!
