  • Where can i get these type of exaust for my own A6? And by the way its awesome!!

  • Im not expert of cars but i think its better to warm up engine before reving it

  • @boobmasteris You would be correct. Thats why the car was up to operating temp.

  • Sounds fantastic, i was wondering if you could tell us exactly what model Remus muffler you used, maybe a source to get them, and also did you do anything else except replace the mufflers? Thanks!

  • @KragenbrinkGuitars

Its the Remus sport line, got mine from maxmoto. Thanks for the compliment!

  • mmmm smoooooth start up. love the way this car sounds

  • @StateChampsChris Thanks!

  • Thanks! The Remus system comes designed for the tips to sit below the bumper. It honestly doesnt look to hot with the pipes that low though, it really isnt a big deal to cut the bumper and shorten the hangers, looks 100x better. See my newer vids.

  • hey my friend i have an 2000 a6 avant...how will it sound if i remove the resonator and leave the stock exhaust?? any good?? and will the check engine light go on if i remove the resonators??

  • @millenia007

no CEL will not go on. Not sure what removing the resonator will sound like with stock mufflers. I know removing the rear mufflers and leaving the stock resonator sounds great.

  • Yep.

And that would be why I went non-resonated.

  • how much is the Audi A6 Remus resonated exhaust? and where can u buy them? how much?

  • Its axle back, 371 per side. Non resonated just consists of removing the stock resonator...

  • does it work on 2001 Audi

    A6 2.8 Quattro?

  • Thats what my car is!

  • yo man aint that jjust the engine

  • Not sure what you are sayin... LOL.

  • @jonty111

That's why the title says resonated.

Look at his videos after he took the resonator out.

  • Hey, your from AF, whats going on? lol.

I like the Remus, Straight 2.25 inch or 2.5 inch pipe from the resonator back sounds mean. idk what ill do with my a4 yet.

  • Remus is nice, but realy expensive. IMO, you have to remove the resonator to get the truly awesome sound.

  • Yeah, We have the same drivetrain in our cars. I like the sound of straight pipes from the resonator back with like a magnflow or borla muffler.

  • This is a question, not slamming you or anything like that. Are you happy with just having a nice looking car that sounds fast but is really slow (2.8)?

I have an A6 avant myself and can't see putting an exhaust on because it would just be mean sounding turtle. Now, if you had the 2.7T or the 4.2 it would be a different story.

  • Yeah, im going for looks. If I wanted fast I would have a S4 avant :) . I would rather have an avant but they are hard to find. I got tinted tails from hella, R8 reps coming along with suspension drop, lip spoiler from ebay, blue calipers along with the Remus. Having it loud and sounding good just makes it more fun and involving to drive. Combined with a KN filter(drop in) and engine/trans vagcom recodes, it actually doesnt move to bad. It runs down v6 mustangs, SS NA cobalts and a few others.

  • This is only resonator back, or axle back. My other vids are cat back.

  • dude that sounds great! how much did u pay for the mufflers and 3.5in tips?

  • damn! that sounds really clean

  • What kind of exhaust system is that?

  • Remus sport label mufflers with 3 1/2 inch tips. Stock cats and mid resonater.
