@xXScroGhillieXx Well if i would do that, it would show a 3 hour video of which 10minutes me building a door, 1 hour of doing nothing or thinking, and the rest of the time fucking around with redstone timing. It's not like this is build within 5 minutes to work flawlessly.

@daniwan3000 To be honest, The door can easily be upgraded with a latch to open from both outside and inside. And thus keeps out creeps. Then again, this video does not contain that. Check the minecraft redstone wiki for some help!

@GrahamGoesRawr It does not. I upgraded the system on my original cave to do it. It's possible but you need to build a LATCH to make it trigger with 2 different inputs.

@j0mp4m4n On 1 side, I would love to. But on the other side. like i have said before, this map is a collection of ALL my work. I will however be able to copy paste the doors only. but even then, it is all sealed up behind walls. if you break the wrong dirt block, you could ruin the whole door system so to speak. But if you want a empty map, with a copy/paste of the door alone. I can get you that if you like.

Im confused on how u make the sand retract first and then the stairs pop out. But when u pull back the lever, the stairs retract first and then the sand comes back up?

When i attempt this the sand retracts and the stairs pop out. But when i pull back the lever the sand comes back up and then the stairs cant retract???

How do i make it so when i pull back the lever the stairs go in first the thae sand comes back up?

@spencer11151 I have explained quite clearly that this is a DELAY trick in the redstone repeaters. Please make sure you have all the correct timing. It was more luck then wisdom when i first messed around with this.

My upgraded version of this (the original cave in piston nyancat) Now also has a lever on the inside so it opens and closes from both sides. If you have a background in electronics, it helps. But i cannot make it any clearer, sorry.

@SalucoN I will tell you so right now since i did indeed forget that.note: ALL PISTONS ARE STICKY. I have a set of 4 on each side to push and pull 1 other piston AND the block it is going to push. so all 4 of then 2x2 should be stacked facing the hallway. and on those a stack of 2 facing outside. with in front of them a block of whatever you want to use. (Solids recommended sand might just break) under the ground there are just 4 pistons, 2x1 that point upward all the way. And thats it :)
