Apparently scientists have managed to get 'stuff' (particles) to travel faster than the speed of light which challenges our foundation of our understanding of how the Universe works. Albert you really need to see this pal.
@kords1 When i grew up listening to music the bands were not satisfied completely unless they were big in America? Especially when they when they started losing sales n America I remember KISS practically lost America by 1980,'' But australia in 1980 was into KISS like America was in the 70s They got huge down under..By 1980 reading a hit parader on kiss was like they were dated and on there way out..They made a good comeback in 84...To me psytrance sound has not grown since the 90s? Stagnant
@Clusterfrog It's Cellular Automata Sequencer, a software that apply to sounds the same approach of artificial life simulator, like some cells that evolve generation after generation. For other synth with biological algorithms I advise you also Axon (Audio Damage), a drum synth with neural sequencer, and Synplant, that creates crazy sounds with genetic modification of some seeds that grow into synth patches. Enjoy ;)
Can anybody tell me what's the plug-in on the video with the moving squares? Just curious... Hope they crack the particle into this track, looks fantastic so far!
Simon and Benji are geniuses with computers and sounds... and Raja talking could have inspired Einstein and Leonardo da Vince, had he lived in those days.
Soundtrack to the Big Bang they are creating here.... they owe royalties to the gnomes since The 4th Dimension is where they bring their music back from....
Oh I see you have yourself an automaton! I have a great idea Benji, how about you videotape the computer screen the whole time you make the music, help give some of us a fighting chance in the music/sound world :)
Incidentally, I'm of opinion that those people that are high will find a salvation for this otherwise decaying human race. Maybe I will move to Colorado.
@deathbringerXL This passage is from The incredible marquis by Herbert Gorman entitled the soldier of fortune(chapter six) It was natural that Dumas believed implicitly in the magic of somnambulism, in animal magnetism and in chiromancy. No Haitian dancing before his Voodoo altar was more superstitious than Dumas. Home, to Dumas, therefore, was an authentically inspired adept in communicating with unseen world.
@deathbringerXL "The high office of the President has been used to foment a plot to destroy the American's freedom and before I leave office, I must inform the citizen of this plight."
@deathbringerXL Have we succeeded? We think so. Before long we shall have covered with our narratives an enormous period of time; between the "Comtesse de Salisbury' and the "Comte de Monte Christo" five centuries and a half are compresed. Well, we assert that we have taught France as much history about those five centuries and a half as any historian. This passage is from The Companions of Jehu which was written by Alexandre Dumas pere.
@deathbringerXL This passage is from The Companions of Jehu--page 396--"You are ninnies! I have cheated all the time we've been playing, and you never found out. Those who lost can take their money back." Born and bred in the Catholic faith, Bonaparte had no preference for any dogma. When he re-established divine worship it was done as a political act, not as a religous one.
The music is a reflection of the artists, such is reflected in their seeking enlightenment. Those who seek the truth and are willing to flow with the ever accelerating currents in this ocean of existence will have such wisdoms reflected in their passions.
Shpongle is truly the outcome of wisdom seekers gathered with the intent of expressing the essence and it's many layers and patterns- the result of pure love poured into such intention is the permeating peace and understanding that is revealed.
Hey cool, I've got that same keyboard (the novation, not the roland) but in 61 keys. It's interesting to see how they made the sounds.
Some of the science and music theory was off in the video (fmaj7 3rd inversion), but the products are generally amazing.
@Astrolopitekos it was dubbed the "god particle" by the media to hype it up. It's a pretty important particle (origin of mass, and thus in turn, the cause of gravity if you're going by the relativity spacetime fabric and spatial distortions).
@ihasmario yeah I know :P but I just hate the name "god particle"... it's not like it's going to solve cancer or AIDS :x but lets see if it really exists or not :) -- And I do hope they will find that out in CERN and not in the USA... :P

Sometimes i think these guys (in psytrance) have proved they don't need america for their style music..
dannyhood66 1 year ago
@dannyhood66
Why would you think that?
They never needed America for Psy.
Most talented artists within that genre (actually many genres) are not from America to begin with.
