Averaging polls together, as RCP does, is like adding an apple to a pickle. It is statistically irrelevant. My position stands. Rasmussen, as the only pollster who polls likely voters has been the most accurate. Snapshots of polls at a point in time don't tell you much. Look at the time series since the Inauguration and ALL OF THEM, confirm the same thing. Obama is tanking and tanking in an epic way. Things could possibly turn around, but there is nothing to indicate it is about to happen
