I'm confused, though. Why didn't you record the video from your room when the noise was being made?? Anyone can go to the deck & move chairs around & CLAIM to hear them from the room. But, if you were woken by them every night, why not get your camera out & record it while it is happening?

If your room was right below this floor, then you are absoluutely righrt, the the furniture would make noise when dragged across the floor (deck). Obviously the scratch preventing caps are missing from the legs of the furniture. I would think the ship would thank you for alerting them that their tiles were being scratched. It could have saved them thousands of dollars in repairs.

BTW If you do your research, you would know having a stateroom directly below a public deck, specially the pool deck or restaurant or night club, its going to be LOUD. It's simply the design of the ship and is like that on virtually every cruise line. Even land base hotel, stay in a hotel room directly above a ballroom or theater, your going to hear loud noises too.
