@goldviper98 You can only cut two trees per RuneScape day. Trees reset at midnight GMT, so you can only cut more trees if you cut two before the reset and two after it.

You do not need quests to chop evil trees, but they do help.

Tree Gnome Village gives you the ability to talk to spirit trees, and because of that you can find out if a tree is going to be up soon or if a tree is already up. If an evil tree is already up, then the spirit tree will teleport you to it.

Some trees are in quest related areas and you need to do quests to access those (Monkey Madness for Ape Atoll, Regicide or M.E. Part 1 for elf trees, etc.), but for the most part, none are needed.

Usually when I'm coming back from a Farming run, I check the Spirit Tree because I end at Mobilising Armies anyway. All in all, I hate CC's for stuff like this. They crowd the Tree resulting in less people getting 100% reward.

The best drop is a magic seed, but 99% of the time all you'll get is an acorn or a willow seed.

Cutting trees for drops is pointless. Most of us cut them for the amazing exp. :p

You'd be better off training firemaking. It's pretty much impossible to get 100% rewards at yew, magic, and elder trees if you can't burn them. The only exception to that is if a tree has five or less people.
