  • Helped me on my science project. Thanks <3

  • How does she know that it is 235 million years old? I'm not doubting it, I am just trying to understand the logic behind determining the age of rock layers.

  • @Jman3 Radio metric dating

  • @micah1116

We are talking about science, not religion. Not everyone has the same religion, so that explaination doesn't even work. Sorry.

  • lol she lives in a cave

  • Lol "like the walls of my cave" i laughed at that during science :)

  • thanks this really helped me .cool video!!!!!!!

  • Very interesting vid

  • good one

  • Sorry lady but it doesn't take millions of years, the sedimentary rock that covers the entire planet was laid down by the flood of Noah. I'd like for her to explain polystrate fossils such as whales and trees extending through multiuple layers, they didn't stand there for millions of years waiting for the layers to form around them.

  • @micah1116 No you're right, to surround a large body fossil such as a whale or tree with sediment would happen rapidly over a period of weeks or months or even less due to a turbidity current. It's the rock formation that takes the time and that's what she's referring to. I don't know the term polystrate but I guess it means through many strata, again it is reasonable to expect that in areas of rapid deposition such as volcanic areas you would get these without resorting to religious nonsense

  • @micah1116 Not all sedimentry layers are from water. The Coconino Sandstone in the Grand Canyon is for wind blown desert sands. There was no global flood.

  • @gregrutz I realize that, I know a thing or two about geology, I'm not talking about aeolian processes. As far as the coconino sandstone in the grand canyon, they have found amphibian tetrapod footprints in those rocks, so that is kind of a problem for the idea they formed by aeolian processes.

  • @micah1116 And why can't there be footprints in desert sand? It rains in the desert too.

What is your evidence of a flood? Distinct layers? Different kinds of rock? Ash layers?

  • @gregrutz because the wind would make the footprints dissappear in no time at all, and I would think even in wet sand, a footprint would dissapear shortly thereafter, unless it hardened into rock. My evidence for a flood is an average of 1.2 miles of sedimentary rock covering the earth containing trillions of organisms that were under water and got buried in sediment, why were all these organisms underwater? LOL

  • @gregrutz look, you've been replying to my comments on videos for like years now, it's getting a bit old, I'd rather not continue this endless cycle. If your insecure about your beliefs and have to attack every comment I make on a video because it makes you uncomforatable, that's your problem.

  • thtat was the end of the story

  • ok that helps me in science
