You can aim with a red reticle like any other FPS but it isn't aim down sights and you can't move while doing it because of the N64's single stick design. To compensate for that, they put in an INCREDIBLY effective auto-aim. It pulls your guns right to the guys which is how we appear to be blind-firing so accurately

well it's not exactly surgery but it will make you hit the guy and it takes like 3 shots max to kill a guy. If you're asking whether or not auto aim assisted us in killing Trevelyan, the answer is no. We were assisted by good old fashioned luck
