It's interesting that so far as I've read, No one has noticed the fact that the bird is not necessarily smarter than the humans, it's more the bird is strong enough with the use of his beak to be able to Pry the 2 pieces apart where as the people aren't attempting to pry them apart like the bird is.

I may be just a mere human but I can do it in under 5 seconds with my eyes closed too, if I've had days and days and days of practice doing it over and over every day.
