todays Hip Hop is complete and utter shite and the Drum&Bass, Hardcore, Jungle also reggae was all the earlier music just such a tuff act to follow...(Long live the oldskool)
the kids nowadays would laugh at this video because of the style and song. but what do they know listen to this grimey shit thinking there big and bad listen you little fuckers without tunes like this and others you wouldnt listen to that grimey shit without it. stay true and old skool.
Oh how I miss the 80's...when music (especially rap) was real and rappers actually had talent and you could understand the lyrics! I'm so glad I'm a child of the 80's! These kids today just don't know! This was the real stuff here not any of this droppin' niggas and spankin' hoes crap we have today! Rap is so disgusting now!
Seriously. Makes me sad to know what true hip hop was like and what it has become, and then have to have this new "rap" shit almost poisoning the kids of this generation.
No not almost....it IS poisoning the kids of this generation. I was a big fan of heavy metal back in the day but in all its glory heavy metal is nowhere near as bad as this rap trash. Metal was mostly limited to white youth. I was probably one of only a handful of blacks that liked metal but rap has transcended the color line like nothing else. It's scary because I've never seen so many people defend a genre of trashy music like hip hop or rap!
@SnackerLover420 Don't get it twisted. Rap was about guns, booty, drugs, and bling back then too. It's just not all it was about and as lyricists they were a shit load better too.
@blakmagik4 Yeah you right. I should have made myself clearer. Most of today's rappers have to fabricate their past to get a damn record to sell. NWA, Wu Tang, and Ice-T, they bought the reality of the streets in their music. Today's rappers just sound whack rapping about the same shit.
@SnackerLover420 i agree. especially when they rap about the same shit with no skill. back in the day you had party jams, conscious rap, hardcore stuff, afrocentric, etc. And it was all hip-hop. Tons of variety. Now it's so one dimensional. I won't say everybody sucks now but you gotta dig real deep. Like i remember being in a club and they played Roots What They Do and nobody batted an eye. Just grabbed a girl and grooved. I can't remember a club these days playing a Roots song.
Too bad Hip Hop died. The new style of "hip hop" absolutely BLOWS compared to the old skool.

It's sad. Rap ain't what it used to be. It lost its message. It's all about guns, booty, drugs, and bling bling now.
