okay your next deuteronomy and also the subsequent exodus verses are all similar to what i said in the previous comment, that God was not showing support for slavery through these verses, but setting rules for people to abide by so that fair treatment will be given to the slaves. Next is Luke 19:27. This verse is about the Parable of the Ten Minas. If you knew the Bible, you would know that a parable is a story, and Jesus taught many things through these stories; these parables.
@bahhhxxx but these parables, though simple stories they may seem, actually it was a simple illustration that Jesus used to convey deep messages. In the verse that you provided, the literal meaning of the verse you gave, did indeed focus on killing. But this whole story, in its simple sense, said that a king went to a country and gave people some money, and they were supposed to multiply it, and one servant didn't, so he was to be killed.
@bahhhxxx But the DEEPER SENSE of this parable, meant that God has given each and every one of us special gifts, special talents. (in another version of the Bible it's called the Parable of the Ten Talents) It might not be intelligence, music, but can be as simple as helping others, and what Jesus was trying to say was that, with these talents given to us, we have to go out and use them for a purpose, to use them mightily and multiply others. So you can't take that specific verse so literally.

And yes some of these things are cruel and immoral...but remember that those are different time and to them this wasn't immoral...similar to parents physically disciplining their children back in the day was more acceptable then it is now...the NT talks about redemption through Christ, and how we have been saved through grace...

okay your next deuteronomy and also the subsequent exodus verses are all similar to what i said in the previous comment, that God was not showing support for slavery through these verses, but setting rules for people to abide by so that fair treatment will be given to the slaves. Next is Luke 19:27. This verse is about the Parable of the Ten Minas. If you knew the Bible, you would know that a parable is a story, and Jesus taught many things through these stories; these parables.

@bahhhxxx but these parables, though simple stories they may seem, actually it was a simple illustration that Jesus used to convey deep messages. In the verse that you provided, the literal meaning of the verse you gave, did indeed focus on killing. But this whole story, in its simple sense, said that a king went to a country and gave people some money, and they were supposed to multiply it, and one servant didn't, so he was to be killed.

@bahhhxxx But the DEEPER SENSE of this parable, meant that God has given each and every one of us special gifts, special talents. (in another version of the Bible it's called the Parable of the Ten Talents) It might not be intelligence, music, but can be as simple as helping others, and what Jesus was trying to say was that, with these talents given to us, we have to go out and use them for a purpose, to use them mightily and multiply others. So you can't take that specific verse so literally.

But you didn't take it into context, it's the second book of the Bible, one of the old testament, which dates back to don't know how many thousand years B.C (which is Before Christ lol, but I guess YOU don't believe in this time mark huh?)
In those times, slaves were part of the social hierarchy. God wasn't the one who allowed that, it was man's own choice to enslaven others. Read on in next comment.

What is up with non believers watching this and commenting on here. I mean like really if you don't believe in god then why do you bother to watch a Christian video. It doesn't make any sense. There's really no logic in that. I feel sad for you. I'll pray for you.

Read the advice from Satan's "son". His son was really himself. He gave some advice, 2000 years ago, such as: (1) follow the OT (2) Turn your back on your family (3) Go out and live on the streets. He feeds the birds, doesn't he. (4) Time is short he is going to rule the world (4) Buy a sword and get ready to kill. (5) Eternal punishment for those who do not follow him (6) If someone hits you, encourage them to hit you some more. He used scare tactics to get people to believe in him.

Satan is a liar. He had people write about him. He had them write that his name was "God". He lied to his "chosen people" telling them to do all kinds of evil things. He came to earth and demanded that people worship him. Read and whenever you see the word "God" read it as "Satan" and then the collection of stories will make sense. A Rose is a Rose by anyother name.

But if there is a "Satan," then there has to be a "God." If there is a "hell," then there has to be a "heaven." If there is a "bad," then there has to be a "good."
We're going to have to go through this life... we either go through it with Him or without Him.

My Pastor just came back from studying 1st century manuscripts in Jerusalem.
He says that he discovered beyond a doubt that Jesus never existed, but was made up! He said that all of the information would be given to the public in the next few years and that a lot of people wouldn't be able to handle it.
But that we could still be Christian anyway 'cause it's a good way to live.

I don't know what it's like to be you RemulakArisen, I hope I never have to. I'm going to tell you how I know that God, his holy spirit, and Jesus are real, not a myth. I was addicted to porn, alcohol and drugs. Everyday seemed to be perpetuating itself into a deeper feeling of numbness. I thought this would never end and I didn't care if I lived or died. My last hope was to try praying to God and asking Jesus if he would save me. It didn't happen right away, but he did it

When Jesus was here, he made a lot of people angry. He was a rebel. He stirred things up.
A lot of what He said didn't make it into the Bible, because the Emperor didn't want Rome to end up as the land of the free and the home of the brave.

God is a just God, and I'm not a hyprcrite, If God wanted to send me to hell , He would have every right to do so. Luckily He sent Jesus so that I could Have eternity, a hope and a promise in Jesus that brings me out of death and into eternal life. So I will follow Jesus who has given me life not one who has destined me for death.

torah 'old' testament has never expired. jizzs himself is quoted that we must keep G-od's law.
u don't keep kosher, dont keep holidays, dont keep shabbat, u worship Go-d in a physical form, which is very strongly warned in the torah. deut.4/;14-15, other places.
Go-d gave us his teaching to improve ourselves as best we can.
jizzs taught that we are NOT ABLE to come to Go-d alone!

torah warns deut4:14 to never worship him in any form and to always keep the commandments. would he emerge from some poor girls privates to announce 'tada, i've done these things in my human form so u dont have to'. it makes 0 sense!

@SHMAGEGIE Yes,the Gospel does say that Jesus fulfilled the law.He had to fulfill the law.Im sure you know,in our sinful nature,it is impossible to follow all of these laws perfectly.And if we want to enter a perfect heaven,then we must be perfect.And nothing is perfect but God,so He sent Jesus,who was fully God & fully human.Never does He say dont do these things,as a follower of Christ I am still called to follow God and his will.He came to say "It is Finished" and defeat sin,makes sense to me

Jesus said in Matt. 5:17 "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them". So you're right he didnt come to change them but to fulfill them.
Why would He need to fulfill them, because we can't keep them.
Have you ever broken a commandment? Did you choose to do so? If you are perfect then Jesus is not for you anyway.

Does God reward these people even if they follow all of His commandments.
