  • Ganesha henna kits in the uk have very bad translation, but you're meant to keep them out of the heat.

The smell is certainly henna paste and oil and is the same colour as my powder. It can be thought to be like disinfectant to those who do not know the smell. You are meant to put the oil on if you don't want the stain to be too much

and i have found nothing go wrong with my skin at all (which for me proves it is safe as i come from a family allergic to more or less everything)

    hope this helps :)

  • I bought a ganesha henna kit days ago in the uk, i'm from wales, and i've just used the tube paste on my hands, the oil they gave with it smelt like disinfectant and the paste has left red burn marks resembling the pattern on my hand, there are definitely chemicals in it! ): I just want everyone to know so they don't buy this product!

  • I'm in the UK.

I've used rani and ganesha paste. luckily I had om reactions but the ganesha paste leaked for me too. there's something their not saying in the ingredients in my opinion. if you leave hair dye in the tube too long it'l expand and leak. the same happens with that paste. I think its got ppd in it. the rani cone was just total rubbish tbh. I only use jamila Henna but I'm gonna be getting yemeni Henna soon. I recommend making your own. you know your safe then.

  • Hi there,

some years ago a friend of mine was using this henna "Ganseha" brand, and she came up with some realy nasty burninglike marks around the stains....I do not know whats exactly inside there but I recomand not using this stuff!

  • why dont u use SAHJADI henna kone from BANGLADESH u can find it anywhere in ny in jacksonhights indian or bengladeshe grocery store

  • @ashrafmony I dont use Sahjadi because I have never heard of it. I do not live in NY so I cannot go to that store. I prefer to mix my own henna paste, that way I know it is good and safe.

  • I know this is off the subject but what are those triangle things behind you LOL!!!!

  • Those are birds made of recycled saris from India.

  • keep it up sister!! you are doing a great service, may Allah reward you! :-)

  • i use sugar

but i'll try honey as well now :D thx

  • I've never really trusted those henna pastes. I've known girls who left it on for 5 minutes and had the most intense and vibrant stain ever. THAT IS NOT NORMAL :O

  • salaam :p aha yes it was me who sent the pic. Im not surprised why it leaked, it's crap. It stinks doesn't it, like varnish! XD It probably ate its way through the materials keeping it in with all those chemicals...

  • i think i will try glycerin

thx for reading the ingredients :)

  • Sugar and honey are better :)
