  • These Rascals were Awesome !!!!!

  • it is so cool...

  • who shot him he was so good

  • Check the dude left of the singer...that cat is rockin' out big time !!!

  • I have to correct myself, Reggie didnt die of pancreatic cancer, it's postate cancer. A lot of men survive this cancer unfortunately in Reggie's case it wasn't caught early. Apparently, even though he led a healthy lifestyle he still needed checkups.

  • Reggie Battiste (aka Reggie Leon) just passed away this morning.

  • @MarieW521 That is horrible news. How did you find this out? He was my room mate when we toured with the BusBoys together. I didn't know he ever used a name other than Reggie Leon. Please tell me more.

  • @norkro I'm sorry you had to read about Reggie's passing here norkro. Reggie became a member of the rock and roll band Sha Na Na since 1989 and i'm a fan of theirs, I belong to their forum and Facebook, and that's how I found out about his passing, he's been sick since last year and it's only a few days ago that I found out that it's pancreatic cancer and us fans were keeping our vigil, so even though it was expected it's still very shocking to hear that he's gone now.

  • @MarieW521 Thanks for the entire story. As I said, Reggie and I roomed together while touring with the Bus Boys. We came from different worlds, he a black man from Chicago and me a white man from Southern California. Reggie always showed me respect and he was a great roomie. He was a vegitarian, no booze, no smoking, worked out every day and had the healthiest lifestyle of anyone I have ever known.

  • He told me when he did a McDonald's commercial he had them remove the patty before he took a bite. I remember seeing that commercial a few times and it made me laugh. When I was living on Guam Sha Na Na came there and Reggie invited me to the sound check to meet the band. When I picture Reggie in my mind he is smiling. I think he always smiled, no matter what was going on and a lot of things go on when you tour with a group like this. I will always have fond memories of him.

  • @norkro Last April Reggie joined Sha Na Na onstage and sang a coupld of songs, we thought that he might be on his way of getting better, maybe he was or maybe he was saying goodbye to the fans. We are going to miss his smile and wonderful personality.

  • @norkro Last May in San Francisco, Reggie joined Sha Na Na onstage and sang a couple of songs, we thought that he might be on his way of getting better, maybe he was or maybe he was saying goodbye to the fans. We are going to miss his smile and wonderful personality.

  • Too bad that they didnt use the guitar in the studio version.. But i love this song!!! ROCK N ROLL!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Today would have been French's 52nd Birthday. God Bless You My Friend...next time I see you we'll go to Sizzler for their Malibu Chicken. Miss you, Love ya, C-

  • These are some rockin brothas

  • Rest in peace Greg French.

  • Please share any info on Greg. I use to work with him at a bank in Torrance. Thought I would look him up but I saw your post. What happened?

  • @MsGirlee I just learned yesterday 5/10/10 that French died. I am in total disbelief. The last time I saw him he was in the hospital..his vision was blurry (from the diabetes), his left leg was sore to the touch (the atrophy caused by diabetes), but he was optimistic with the care he was getting and had plans for when he got out of the hospital. I LOVE MY FRIEND and I told him so after every phone call we had. I tried reaching out to the Bus Boy Fan Club but I have not heard back from them.
