YT posters should take notes on what he uses to record and load these puppies. He makes even little amps sound great (damn you!!).

Hey there Burg! Thanks for the demo! What would you recommend for the perfect "Marshall in a box" tone? Plextortion? OCD? Just looking for a straight up JCM800, JCM900, DSL100 type tone in a distortion pedal.
That sounds really nice. I'm hearing all kinds of various mid shifts when you fiddle with the knobs. Is there a way to get a crisp top end to it. the single notes sound smooth, but I'd want that top end presence or crunch like a Marshall EVH type tone.

@stormypenny Good question and I honestly can't remember. It would have been one of the Laneys though - either the clean channel from the VC50 or the clean channel of the Lionheart L5T. They both have Greenbacks but the little Lionheart is a tad more compressed. Aside from that, they're pretty close.
I haven't tried the Super Plextortion so I can't comment, sorry! Maybe Brian will shoot one over so I can demo it and you'll be able to compare. Thanks for watching! :)

Any of the above would probably do the job although the DLS may not have the grinding edge that the other three have. They can all deliver the foundation although I must admit that I haven't tried the Severe or Riot yet. It's more to do with your hands and groove.

Ohhh.. Well, this one's sparkly purple so they've either sent me a custom finish because they know Sadie is a mad purple pedal collector or else the Plextortion is now available in purple sparkle as well (more likely).
@Burgerman666 Yep... the newest plextortions are this purty sparkley purple thing. The super plex is more black with a bit of purple mixed in. We changed paint suppliers this year so some of the colors are different than they were last year.
That is a redefinition of demo.WOW!!It just makes me want to go out and play.
