hi i have a acer liquid e and my friend has a iphone 3gs and his iphone can catch a signal wayyyy easier than my acer liquid e we will be in the same area and his will have 2 bar signals and mine wont have any im just wondering if its my phone or anyone alse have trouble connecting through wifi ???

no phone ive seen yet looks as sleek and col as this, i said this when it first came out and i still love its looks. the black tinted screen is something that only acer have come out with, very surprised some of the other high end makers havent added black tinted screen. Id love to see the HD 7 with that black screen and LED flashing icons for messages and missed calls at the top

it gets warm at the MOST ( i havent had any heat issues yet), easy to use, fast as hell , performance wise i feel its better then iphone 3gs dont know about 4g, able to upgrade memory a will with micro sd, and cheeper to, only thing bad ill say it would have been nice to have a glass screen.

Run away. Have had nothing but problems, am on 3rd phone, worst problem is screen cracked because i might have twisted it in my hands doing 3 buttor reset. This phone is way 2 fragile, heats up way 2 much, laggs here n there, battery dies i a day. plus many more problems. I hate this crap phone. Its cheap at the beginning but once it breaks u pay!

Hi MysicJynkie, I have an Aspire desktop PC. Like you suggested, I thought it may be the temperature, but the CPU temp doesn't rise above 35 C and the Harddiscs are nicely spaced (This problem also occured when there was only the one Harddisc, which is now dead). I have tried everything abeit replacing the motherboard. Cheers for the advice though :)

@Gedwalt76 what "PCs"? U mean laptops? No, their laptops don't freeze, unless you're running Win98. You may have a faulty cooler and thus an system overheating, lots of laptop manufacturers overlook this issue. On the other hand smart-phones do freeze occasionally, even the great iphones.

This phone is crack'in like it.. Too much function and screen size same as Iphone 3.5inch.. Use snapdragon processor but clocking at 768Mhz... It is at affordable price..

@chochunkit why is everyone asking this? Just look up the specs on Acer's web site. Screen is brighter, and RAM is doubled to 512mb. Those are the only changes other than the OS.

I have been torn for the last month or two by the Acer and the HTC HD2 .. i love both of them ..and i wish they could be be merged somehow lol . That look on the Acer is so sleek and mean - the front, the black screen is unique and i love it. i guess i'll have to go on adroid now ..im not a fan of android but everyone in my house is on iphone and i have to be different.
