There's a problem with this. They were only doing the bullet dodging thing when they were IN the matrix. But pacman takes the red pill, suddenly LEAVES the computer world, and THEN he's dodging bullets? Eh, makes as much sense as the damn movie itself.

It's heavily implied that the blue pill simply erases your memories of encountering people from outside the matrix, that way you are not in danger of being hunted down by the agents for information and simultaneously, you can't endanger the freedom fighters by revealing anything about them
