I really find Michael McIntyre's stand up to be such lame, safe, observational humour. I was in a room with people the other day and they were rolling around the floor laughing at his clips on youtube...Christ I felt alienated. Thank God there is some solace in Bill Hicks, Georage Carlin and Doug Stanhope...In other words..real comedians.

He makes me laugh & my comedic standpoint is as valid as the next persons & so he is allowed to call himself a comedian & state on his CV: 'Comedian'. His material & observations may be 'safe', but it's the effortless way he does it, with such charm & fun. Some people aren't so difficult to please.

as much as people like lee evans, it takes a very good comedian NOT to swear in every sentence. Mcintyre is a very clever comedian in that you can sit your family down to him and not feel the sense of awkwardness that you do when lee evans shouts obscenities in his act.

I don't see what all the fuss is about. I'm a massive fan of Michael I think he's fantastic, but yet again I also adore Frankie Boyle, Jimmy Carr, Lee Evans, even Alan Carr and so on. But one *comedian* I just don't like is Russell Brand. Everyone likes different things. If someone said they liked something you didn't you wouldn't go up to them and start going mad at them.
