Uneducated people who get their information from Talk Radio and Fox news many times have complete confidence that they understand how the world works and are in a position to pass complete and total judgement on everything. They have the one truth. International finance, religion, human nature, genetics, medical research, etc. They believe they know everything about everything. How can you argue with people like that? It's a religion.

@boobs510 I see where you are coming from, but as a political force in current day American politics, the so-called left-wingers are marginal. They do not have an entire network (FOX) devoted to their cause, and I think lefty talk show hosts are outnumbered 10 to 1 in the media. Also, lefties are disorganized and fragmented so they exert almost zero influence on things; so their particular mental aberrations don't matter for squat. This, of course, is just my take on the situation.

He was just explaining that Fox News gives republicans AND democrats a voice. They air Alan Colmes nearly as often as they air Glenn Beck, only because Beck is more of a TV personality. I am an independent, but I watch Fox News and think Limbaugh is a racist. Do I think that he should have been denied NFL ownership? No.
