  • @shannara67 really does?gooodcall best wishes curtis

  • @shannara67 Yep and those days are so full of tears when we think back 35 years,Oh so lady the heart burns and the candle is slowly becoming wax on the side of our days gone back to only want one moment such as this to bring a temp solution to what is in todays ugly world

  • Absolutely a classic..Canadian gold!!!

  • @StarRider1250 this is the best of all of them

  • f c k i n g good tune

  • sweet , bitter, bitterness, bitterness is this, not bein able to flow, to grow, to smile, to stifle the harsh word or put down, just flow with the magic of today

  • @utahan15 yea see my friend when this song was done it was a time just like that,so what was we put on this song to bring us back to a better time and different heart, and mind, today it is bitter, full of putdowns instead of way to goes,or good job, today thers no magic just obvious deception open a news paper,or turn on the tv?instead of archie bunker its a homosidle baby,a dog that makes it with humans, and pedifile old man,and thats just a cartoon, mirror to the worlds uglyness, hope

  • A 70's girl's tune. my teens days, you had to be there to appreciate this song. I get that it's dated.

  • great song still love it

  • Love, love April Wine. They still play a tight set, will be seeing them again in Drumheller in a month, can't wait!

  • one of the best songs of the 70's

  • I was at this concert in 1977, pregnant with my first-born son Eric. And my friend Mary got up on stage with Miles to dance the song. It was a night to remember. :)

  • April 1977

  • Love this song, but I'm glad I didn't listen to it when I was heartbroken. It hits a little too close to home. :(

  • I love this song!!

  • THE BEST BAND OF ALL TIME.

  • Great song, very well written and the singing is also top`s'' the solo is what makes it for me, but the one fault i have is that the song fades much to fast at the end!

  • Great takes me back as a kid in the 70's smoking some panama red stealing my moms stash of weed.

  • Was the best to listen in grade 9 or 10 when fantasies of girls might or might not come true

  • April Wine best canadian rock band ever!!!!!

  • Sounds like the Everly Brothers. Well they definitely used that staple harmony.

  • @suppie100 which song by the everly brother they try to rip off???

  • @jason75 Didn't say that, I said they used the Everly Brothers harmony. Listen to some Everly Brothers, you'll hear it. It's not a big deal though, even the Beatles thanked the E.B for help on Harmonies.

  • @suppie100 Ya I guess they try to sound like everly brothers.

  • beautiful harmonies........love it

  • Good old canadian band.

  • 1978 High Schoool such memories.

  • fantastic

  • It is almost perfection. Hell maybe it is perfection.

  • How is this not one of the top balads of all time.

  • if someone like justin bieber covered this, it would be a monster hit-------------dontcha think??

  • yeah Bridgewater suck i never said i liked the place

  • Takes ya right back !

  • to cherie remember me always still dont love bridgewater

  • @brucetop777 sorry bruce...not much to love about Bridewater....that is to say if that's in lovelly N.S ,canada....

  • My mistake, actually the correct full verse goes like this:

It's hard to say (it's hard to say) What I have to say (what I have to say)

And I hope you understand (and I hope you understand).

But Jill told Fred (but Jill told Fred) You wish I'd drop dead (you wish I'd drop dead). Now what am I goin' to do

  • Your right. I don't have it, but a remember a speaking verse that went something like: "Then Jill told Fred, I wish you'd drop dead. Now what am I supposed to do."

  • I have this album on vinyl and this song has another verse and a longer outro solo. I've never heard it anywhere else though.

  • @guitarguy91 hi there

    still a great song

  • A softer side to AW...almost 50's sounding. I like it! You're awesome Gordon!

  • @SugarBear0199 right on, Bear! Very doo-wop sound . . . that 50's thing.
