vedic astrology doesnt give a damn abt pluto,it is western astrologers who considers it in their reading and often fall on their asses by doing so by wrongly predicting a event or telling abt a person and westerners blame astrlogy and consder it as superstition,send me ur birth details,i will let u know

depends on what year. the ayanamsa changes each year. for 1970 it would be 23 degrees 27 minutes, so you would still be cancer. in 2020, the ayanamsa will be 24 degrees 08 minutes so you would be Leo. it's about 50 seconds/year

very cool. so tropical is good for finding out the psychology, personality, all of that good stuff, even image, where is sidereal is more about prediction and the astrology effect on time. fascinating.

Well actually i wrote a book called Psychiatric astrology, so I believe that a lot can be ascertained about the personality from the Vedic system.

My western astrology friends like to use the outer planets though, like Neptune, Pluto, chiron, and Uranus. These the Vedic sages didn't use. That's not to say they didn't know about them though, even thought hey were discovered just recently.
