Reason being the budget given, they would not have enough money to revamp an entire game because they're most probably on Mafia 3 which if is being made would be set in 70-80's so I would rather wait for the new game although a whole triology of amazing graphics games would be nice..

never played the godfathers, but having played both mafia's i can say that there is more to do in mafia 1, it's a bit longer, and immersive. nothing wrong with mafia 2 though, just a little on the short side. if you get it, try to get the platinum hits which includes all the DLC

this game is so cool, its more technical than GTA in the sense that its more realistic in alot of ways, u have to start the engine of the car b4 u drive, u are ticketed for speeding and breaking the light, u can actually ride a train like from the inside not like a cut scene or anything, you get injured from bad accidents, its so cool, cut scenes are also cool like a movie, its like ur the character of a dread noir film, wooooo, im like halfway tru the game :D

On year 2002, an amazing game named MAFIA came out on PC, best version rather than PS2 or Xbox. I played the game day and night, and I understood "Wow, a 2002 year game with such incredible graphics and engine, sound quality is amazing and the most important thing - STORY is the best". This game was and is so perfect, that I just can't stop playing it day and night since that time.
